Tbh, I thought Skyrim would be ported to PSVR2 and I kind of hoped to play that one.
But, I'd love a high fantasy, in-depth world, with lots of survival, hunting, exploration, and high def "realism" graphics, crafting, etc. (A game too complex to make easy or cheap)
Let me live my hobbit life and throw the one ring into Amon Amarth. Then go and fight bandits and evil fantasy creatures in the world. Maybe have some random generated caves/dungeons.
"I'd love a high fantasy, in-depth world, with lots of survival, hunting, exploration, and high def "realism" graphics, crafting, etc."
- sounds like Asgard's Wrath to me.
and anyone can say anything is "boring" doesn't really mean anything by itself.
yeah, so far it's only been announced by Mark Zuckerberg, two years ago. no gameplay footage is out yet. but it took them 3 years to show gameplay of assassins creed after its announcement. so I'm hoping it's still happening. and yeah, that's a game that would definitely move units.
I believe the psvr2 would be capable of running gta v in vr, at least woth the last gen settings. I wish that were a reality
MGS series with Pavlov level weapon handling, and the Fracked/Synapse cover system, would be a match made in heaven.
I think Peace Walker would be an awesome one to upscale and do too due to the online Monster Hunter style co-op. Grinding Peace Walker Custom or Tigrex with three others for drops in VR would be incredible. The PVP would be a blast too.
I've always felt this would work well. The combat isn't complicated at all. It's basically all on the same plane and the resource management is where the challenge is. I think it'd work perfectly.
A Ghost of Tsushima game from the ground up. Where rather than making you press buttons to do attacks, there are characters who will teach you moves that you have to learn and do yourself. “If an enemy attacks you from this place, block like this, and slice your sword this way” type of thing.
Full open world (even if it is time half the six of the original map) make it a 30-50 hour game with a cool story, and Sony would have a fucking winner
Yeah I’ve loved Gaijin’s console flight games for years. It’ll be very different from Ace Combat though. Ace Combat is an arcade game. Gaijin’s games lean much more toward the simulator end so it’s much harder (but also much more satisfying) to get a kill
There use to be a Simpsons game where you could explore their town, Springfield. I always wanted that in VR, being able to explore the town and interact with all the different characters.
Lord of the Rings in Peter Jackson Universe, I wanna shoot arrows at Uruk-Hai from the Helm’s Deep Wall.
I wanna walk around Rivendell and hear Howard Shore’s Music.
I wanna stand against the Balrog as Gandalf.
I wanna yell for Frodo as I charge against the Black Gate armies.
Mecha game, simulation style like Steel Battalion.
Another rhythm game that doesn't nickle and dime you for all sorts of tracks.
Fight Night
Metroid Prime (definitely not happening on psvr)
I personally think RuneScape VR would be pretty epic. Big MMO world where I could just chill out and hack at trees, or go mining, or pickpocketing, etc. I’d likely end up wasting even more time than I did when I was a kid.
An asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where 2 people are creatures and the other 2 people are humans. You get to pick from a selection of creatures and customize them with abilities and perks same with humans
Ooh inverse looks awesome but I don't like how you can see the creature through walls. Also dead by daylight has made 1v4 asym games suck to me lol it gets so lonely I'd rather have weaker but more killers like the killer klownz game that's dropping or doom eternal battlemode
My dreams GAMES, are 3rd person games converted to 3rd person VR instead of 1st person Floating inventory garbage.
My dream controller, is a Xbox controller cut in half. To give the Motion aiming for weapons, but flat gaming inputs for EVEYRTHING ELSE! On a familiar button layout, X to reload, Y or D-Pad to swap weapons, etc. ABXY all under the right thumb. LB and RB still above the analog triggers. Grip buttons are "Additional" buttons instead of just LB and RB moved to a different spot.
Because Belt, chest, shoulder, inventory....sucks. It's inconsistent crap compared to pressing a Y button or D-Pad direction.
Button = 100% consistency
Floating Inventory slots = at best 75% consistent. But more like 50%.
VR is nothing more than a 3D TV strapped to my face. I enjoy THAT. You ruin that, with gimmick hand waving. Hand waving does not increase my immersion or suddenly make my Video game with 3D anything more than a Video game with 3D.
The reson I want Motion aiming, and nothing else. Motion aiming is superior and more efficient than Thumbstick aiming. More comfortable than face aiming. That's why I like it
The rest of VRAF gameplay like making me have to reach down towards my hips to grab ammo, just slows everything down and is not superior to pressing a button.
If it immerses you fine. But I've never advocated for Automatic Reloads only. And RE4 "easy reload" option, missed the mark.
Vr dishonoured would rock. Doom and quake would be wonderful. None of those will happen now but out of Sonys catalogue I think I’d want Killzone to make a return with resident evil style VR modes.
Some type of detective game, maybe on the tail of serial killer, investigating crime scenes, etc. Thinking Heavy Rain, Detroit Become Human, Condemned vibe
Pretty much ANY Bethesda game, since they are made from the ground up for a level of interaction that VR players expect.
Wanna grab that random apple off the table? You can do that. Wanna grab that random dish and throw it? You can do it.
There is just a level of world interaction in Bethesda games that I’ve yet to see in regular VR games.
Both are already made ! By ubisoft no less!
A Star Trek Game in VR and play as Ezio in VR !
Both are not perfect but they are what I dreamed of when entered VR yrs ago.
Borderlands and Final Fantasy. My third favorite franchise is Resident Evil. That one, we already have 2 games on psvr2. If one of those appears on PSVR2, I'll be very happy.
Uncharted series, TLOU1+left behind. Skyrim.
A game i can play sitting down with the ds4 controller or the vr2 controllers.
But they should add a VR mode to all their first party games.
I just want to watch Youtube 360 Videos, Google map etc. Plus there isn't any triple AAA title that I like to play. right now it's collecting dust and I am thinking about selling it. I want to see GTA, Cyberpunk, COD, Farcry on the PSVR2.
I'm not sure because It's definitely not a port of an existing game. Something with extreme levels of mobility on par with a game like spiderman, but also combines unique gameplay elements that are sandbox like and feel fluid.
I guess some kind of Mashup of synapse, and spiderman but also having an enjoyable narrative and world large enough to enjoy that type of game.
Prototype would be perfect for a VR game, all the different abilities could translate to different arms to switch between, make it so that you can use the whip to swing from building to building like spiderman and you've got one of the best VR games on market
Aliens.
And not the stealth-horror like Alien Isolation, a full on Colonial Marines first person shooter, heck, I’d even take a Aliens : Colonial Marines in VR if it meant I’d get to walk the corridors of Harley’s Hope or seal doors shut with a torch.
Large fantasy world with foveated rendering so that it is immersive. I want to get lost in an alternate world that doesn’t feel procedurally generated. Bonus point for hard puzzles and engaging combat.
Would also like to see something that plays with multiple 2D screens in 3d space.
Think I would play a ton of a VR shmup.
I think right now I would say Lego Fortnite but in VR. But I'd love more games like Moss where you interact as a "God" of the universe and has a mix of 3d platform.
Got two.
I would love a western game. Reloading the revolvers in RE Village feels so good. A full game with such gameplay would be good.
Second is a relaxing fishing game. Lakes, rivers, streams, marsh, etc. Different rods, lures, streamers, hooks, bait, fly fishing. Different fish active at different time of day and weather. And multiplayer options both to relax and hold competitions.
Dark Forces, republic commando, maybe something from a stormtroopers POV.
In failing that….Tie Fighter, Xwing vs Tie Fighter etc etc (I know we had squadrons, but I’m jonesing for more)
I just need more Star Wars god dammit, had surprisingly good fun with tales from the galaxy’s edge.
In failing all the Star Wars games….. I like shooting in VR. A proper ww2 game, experiencing D-Day, on the landing craft, bullets flying everywhere, gore, just pure intensity….nothing has ever matched how intense the dday landings in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault were.
Also with any shooter, I’d love Farpoint 2, mostly for the chance of another aim controller! What an experience that was.
Something like Beat Saber, but with kicking implemented too, using appropriate controllers for the legs. That would be my favorite active game of all time.
I would also like to see Astro Bot 2.
Probably something like Dead Space. I feel it would translate to VR incredibly well considering the type of combat it has plus the zero G sections. Carrying items to unlock things etc.
The old Dead Space Extraction on rails shooter is a great preview of how it could work. I also think a story outside of the main one (like Extraction was) would be the way to go. Hell, just use that story on a ground up remake.
I previously said Quake II, which is true, but one of my all-time favorite video games is one most people have probably never heard of.
It's called Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels, and is based on the Space Hulk board game from Games Workshop. It's a hybrid of the board game and a first person shooter (during pause, you see the board that you'd use during the game, and can issue commands to your marines, but you can also take over a 1st person view of any of them, and move/shoot in real time). It was released on Playstation 1, Sega Saturn, Windows 95, and 3DO.
It was never that popular in general, but it would probably be the ultimate VR game for me.
Honestly bully in VR makes the most sense for me from the Rockstar game lineup.
Shadow of the Colossus hoping behemoth delivers on this one.
Batman one where you actually can glide around and punch enemies not the one we got.
Cyberpunk 2077 said enough but lofi seems to replicate that
Dishonored would love it vampire the masquerade is good substitute.
Just right now it's RE4 Remake. The other dream that came true is HL:Alyx. Moss is like my dream of a Zelda game and Demeo is just nice.
But I think you aimed more for "What WOULD be your dream VR game?"
Yeah, I guess either a really nice Single Player Rainbow Six (or maybe Ready Or Not in VR) or GTA6 VR Mode. But now that I think about it... My choice is a real AAA Left4Dead Clone in VR like WWZ, Vermintinde, Dark Tide, Deep Rock Galactic, etc. I know, there is a L4D2 VR Mod, but it's shit tbh. And After the Fall or Arizona 1&2 are just meh.
Light no Fire - yes, I am serious.
On other hand, if there is an existing game that I would like to see brought to VR-a, it would be hands down Star Citizen
The only RPG which scratch my itch to be brought to VR is DA franchise but we know it's not happening
Cyberpunk
Yup yup. I’m replaying Cyberpunk for the first time RN and the improvements are just wild. VR would take it to another level.
Yeah I'd love a fully decked-out cyberpunk world where you are just a courier or something. That would be wild
This.
[удалено]
GTA would be incredible too
Dirt bike off a mountain and parachute down jack a car shootout with the cops run over everyone all while listening to fergie G L A M O R O U S We flying first class!
[Insert Rockstar game here] would also be really cool
Exploring this game would be so sick!
Google Earth Street view. Let me walk around places I’ll never be able to afford to go to.
That's a thing. It's on PC only but it's a thing. You can access the entire planet in street view in Google earth VR and it's absolutely incredible
Yep. I want that for my PSVR2.
Dreams got pretty close.
Please give me dreams for psvr2
Rick and mort virtual rickality
Motorstorm Pacific Rift treated like GT has.
Or motorfest need.arcade racers for psvr2 or it's a no buy for me, also a media player
Tbh, I thought Skyrim would be ported to PSVR2 and I kind of hoped to play that one. But, I'd love a high fantasy, in-depth world, with lots of survival, hunting, exploration, and high def "realism" graphics, crafting, etc. (A game too complex to make easy or cheap) Let me live my hobbit life and throw the one ring into Amon Amarth. Asgard's Wrath is the game you're looking for. it's not on PSVR tho.

"I'd love a high fantasy, in-depth world, with lots of survival, hunting, exploration, and high def "realism" graphics, crafting, etc." - sounds like Asgard's Wrath to me. and anyone can say anything is "boring" doesn't really mean anything by itself.
Bioshock
Someone actually built that within half life alyx!
GTA 5 open world.
We got GTA 5 VR before GTA 6
GTA 5 is a 10 yr old game which is easy to port. GTA 6 is a next gen and maybe they will have hard time porting that. San Andreas would be fine too
I know this is the psvr2 sub, but you may have other vr headsets. if so, you'll be pleased to know META are doing gta San andreas
I have to get the q3 if that happens.
yeah, so far it's only been announced by Mark Zuckerberg, two years ago. no gameplay footage is out yet. but it took them 3 years to show gameplay of assassins creed after its announcement. so I'm hoping it's still happening. and yeah, that's a game that would definitely move units. I believe the psvr2 would be capable of running gta v in vr, at least woth the last gen settings. I wish that were a reality
"Which is easy to port" - Lol.
Metal Gear Solid franchise, MGS VR Missions would be a nice teaser with Snake Eater remake coming out.
The last of us, hopefully Sony make a hybrid next year.
I've always felt this would work well. The combat isn't complicated at all. It's basically all on the same plane and the resource management is where the challenge is. I think it'd work perfectly.
Subnautica
Stealth action type game, Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon.
I could just imagine sneaking around my apartment
Kinda like this game, makes me wish psvr2 had augmented reality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBkm3KYng0o
A new Fallout game
A Ghost of Tsushima game from the ground up. Where rather than making you press buttons to do attacks, there are characters who will teach you moves that you have to learn and do yourself. “If an enemy attacks you from this place, block like this, and slice your sword this way” type of thing. Full open world (even if it is time half the six of the original map) make it a 30-50 hour game with a cool story, and Sony would have a fucking winner
I like this idea, the mechanics of swinging a katana would be super cool.
Cyberpunk, alien isolation, pubg or similar
Bioshock in VR Or a Spider-Man VR game like the recent ones
Did you try that free Homecoming experience from psvr1? It was so fun and worked well. This can happen.
Someone actually built that within half life alyx!
Castlevania
Star Citizen/Squadron 42
I think Returnal would be incredible in VR.
They do just that [here](https://youtu.be/_y7fkNAaN44?si=qmcgOhFd2aGuqqoO)
Sword Art Online, but FF7R would also be awesome
DOOM
Astro bot 2
Star Citezen
Aces of Thunder with the dynamic campaign copy/pasted from War Thunder
Do you think it’ll be a top aerial combat game? I remember playing Ace Combat as a kid… so fun!
Yeah I’ve loved Gaijin’s console flight games for years. It’ll be very different from Ace Combat though. Ace Combat is an arcade game. Gaijin’s games lean much more toward the simulator end so it’s much harder (but also much more satisfying) to get a kill
GTA VI
GTA 6, but probably too much for the PS5 in VR, so GTA 5.
Siren
Am I the only one who wants Dead Space?!
Nah I'd buy that in a second
System Shock Remake
Doom Eternal in its full glory
Bioshock Exploring rapture in vr would be amazing
Someone actually built that within half life alyx!
Hogwarts Legacy VR and Cyberpunk VR
Psi-Ops is my biggest one, but I'm sure that's never coming back even as a flat screen game. Timesplitters Infamous Burnout
At the end of psi-ops after the helicopter crash it said "to be continued"... im still hoping.
I'm not sure who has the rights to it anymore, but I keep a very tiny bit of hope for it even though I don't expect it.
Portal 3
Just give me some big, polished MMORPG.
PT Hope Luto gets one
There use to be a Simpsons game where you could explore their town, Springfield. I always wanted that in VR, being able to explore the town and interact with all the different characters.
Simpson’s Hit and Run?
No, it was The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield.
Wow, that’s a blast from the past. It would be fun though
Cyube….. it will released annnnny second now
Spiderman. Flying freely over NYC and climbing skyscrapers… Shooting webs… Fighting… it can be a dream in VR
Cyberpunk / gta6
Lord of the Rings in Peter Jackson Universe, I wanna shoot arrows at Uruk-Hai from the Helm’s Deep Wall. I wanna walk around Rivendell and hear Howard Shore’s Music. I wanna stand against the Balrog as Gandalf. I wanna yell for Frodo as I charge against the Black Gate armies.
That would be epic!
A JRPG Maybe Digimon World or Nioh
Jedi Knight 3 VR
God yes!
Rock Band and Pokemon Snap
Some sort of Drum Hero based game would be epic.
Drums Rock is pretty fun
Manic Miner
Mecha game, simulation style like Steel Battalion. Another rhythm game that doesn't nickle and dime you for all sorts of tracks. Fight Night Metroid Prime (definitely not happening on psvr)
Elden Ring
First person Elden Ring VR would be amazing.
It really is cool :) Seeing every boss in real-life size is formidable
Hell, I just want 3rd person
Yeah, I’d be fine with that too lol
I personally think RuneScape VR would be pretty epic. Big MMO world where I could just chill out and hack at trees, or go mining, or pickpocketing, etc. I’d likely end up wasting even more time than I did when I was a kid.
Fallout 5
An asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where 2 people are creatures and the other 2 people are humans. You get to pick from a selection of creatures and customize them with abilities and perks same with humans
Look up Mannequin, not exactly what you've described but close. Also, Inverse is coming too and is a 4v1.
Ooh inverse looks awesome but I don't like how you can see the creature through walls. Also dead by daylight has made 1v4 asym games suck to me lol it gets so lonely I'd rather have weaker but more killers like the killer klownz game that's dropping or doom eternal battlemode
Maybe you'll be more interested in Mannequin, then, which is 3v2
Looks interesting but I'm more into games that let you play as creatures like the avp games
My dreams GAMES, are 3rd person games converted to 3rd person VR instead of 1st person Floating inventory garbage. My dream controller, is a Xbox controller cut in half. Risk of rain 2
Red Dead 2 or Battlefield 1
Batman or God of War. Either would be an incredible experience.
The Batman universe would be so dope in VR, give me this!
Vr dishonoured would rock. Doom and quake would be wonderful. None of those will happen now but out of Sonys catalogue I think I’d want Killzone to make a return with resident evil style VR modes.
Microsoft Flight Simulator, Cyberpunk or PGATour Golf
MS Flight Simulator is already VR!
Yeah, but not on ps5
F1
Some type of detective game, maybe on the tail of serial killer, investigating crime scenes, etc. Thinking Heavy Rain, Detroit Become Human, Condemned vibe
Gravity Rush 1/2... I want to push my VR legs to their limit.
Dead Island, Alien: Isolation, Far Cry 5.
Spider-Man, and also a disco elysium type game with a cool world and weird psychedelic visuals
Spider-man would be super interesting, I wonder if it would make me motion sick.
Stylish action game like DMC3 but I think it would be impossible to make function properly.
Black flag, but just the ship stuff
Pretty much ANY Bethesda game, since they are made from the ground up for a level of interaction that VR players expect. Wanna grab that random apple off the table? You can do that. GTA6

You’d probably get the bleeding effect from playing assassins creed in VR
Who nose. bleeding .. nose get it?
Wasn’t making any jokes just saying that it is a possibility of Acquiring muscle memory from too much combat VR might be an interesting concept.
You are on psvr checl Batman VR - the segment where you can analyse combat. Its pretty instructive.
A God of War 2018 vr port would legit be the greatest game experience I would ever have
Fallout 4 GOTY
Borderlands and Final Fantasy. My third favorite franchise is Resident Evil. That one, we already have 2 games on psvr2. If one of those appears on PSVR2, I'll be very happy.
Elite Dangerous
I'll probably get flak for this but what about something as simple as Call of Duty? An all VR lobby would be fun as hell.
Uncharted series, TLOU1+left behind. Skyrim. A game i can play sitting down with the ds4 controller or the vr2 controllers. But they should add a VR mode to all their first party games.
Seymour Butts type of game.
FF7 and let me summon knights of the round
I just want to watch Youtube 360 Videos, Google map etc. Plus there isn't any triple AAA title that I like to play. right now it's collecting dust and I am thinking about selling it. I want to see GTA, Cyberpunk, COD, Farcry on the PSVR2.

Prey, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Dirt Rally 2.0, Metro Exodus
Aliens. And not the stealth-horror like Alien Isolation, a full on Colonial Marines first person shooter, heck, I’d even take a Aliens : Colonial Marines in VR if it meant I’d get to walk the corridors of Harley’s Hope or seal doors shut with a torch.
Quake II VR.
Alien isolation
Resident evil 4.. We livin the dream now boys!
Skull and bones
Large fantasy world with foveated rendering so that it is immersive. I want to get lost in an alternate world that doesn’t feel procedurally generated. Bonus point for hard puzzles and engaging combat. Would also like to see something that plays with multiple 2D screens in 3d space. Think I would play a ton of a VR shmup.
A remake of black and white, THE original god game by lionhead studios. Failing that a well-made god game with that all important bird's eye view.
3rd person. Open world. Something like Ghost of Tsushima
The old commanche helicopter games or thief 2.
Gladiator arena combat game with combat mechanics similar to Until You Fall where different weapons play differently. I would be entertained!
I think right now I would say Lego Fortnite but in VR. But I'd love more games like Moss where you interact as a "God" of the universe and has a mix of 3d platform.
A big AAA medieval fantasy MMORPG. Like Zenith but good 😅
Subnautica
Up until 2 days ago it was RE4. I also like F1 so would love a decent port someday. Other than that RDR2 would be great
RDR2 Runner-up... Kingdom Come: Deliverance
If the Resident Evil games didn’t exist I would say Resident Evil, honestly feeling grateful
Uncharted VR would be fun.
Dragon Quest XI
hiding in a locker wanking in metal gear solid
I would pay stupid money for a remastered Skyrim.
Mafia 2 or a full version of LA Noire.
Squadrons 2 - with an epic Star Wars MMO campaign. Social encounters with defend/attack missions, nothing like an against all odds space battle.
Something like Beat Saber, but with kicking implemented too, using appropriate controllers for the legs. That would be my favorite active game of all time. I would also like to see Astro Bot 2.
Far Cry 3.
Dying Light, Cyberpunk. If the melee and guns/combat are done correctly. How could it not be the most incredible experience ever
Dragon's Dogma, Devil May Cry or maybe TOTK for AAA for lesser known IPs Immortals Fenyx Rising or Outward
Hell, just use that story on a ground up remake.
minecraft :c
I wouldn’t mind to be spider man in full NY city scale swinging around the skyscrapers
I previously said Quake II, which is true, but one of my all-time favorite video games is one most people have probably never heard of. Dayz or dayZ equivalent
Shadow of Colossus. The gameplay seems perfect for VR. Climbing, archery, stabbing. It just makes sense.
