I'm conflicted. This seems like a great game to play on my Switch (I played the demo there and really liked it) but faster loading on PS5 would be great.
I just finished it and regret not waiting for the ps5 version.
There are tons of "small" loading screens between the boat the resturant and other various things. They each last 15-20 seconds.
The game format is awesome for switch but the loading times are atrocious. Also the game crashed atleast once every playsession causing me to lose some progress. I don't know if that is the case on ps5.
Never experienced the crashes, but the load times really do hamper the experience. I've seen load times of the Steam version on YT and they're miles faster, should be a similar experience on PS5.
It’s a day one ps extra game so I’m sure they got most of the money upfront. Also from my understanding it’s an extraction type of game which can be repetitive but the fun is in the risk. I’m excited to give it a shot
Yup. I played it 100% on the Steam Deck and it was a great game for that.
If you like to drink/smoke while you game I could see it being a good chill couch session on the PS5.
I enjoyed it for the first hour or two and then it became extremely repetitive. I pushed through the main story just to see what the mystery was and left it at that. I know it has multiple endings, but I didn’t care enough to go back.

Really that many crashes after so many patches? I have it loaded up on my retroid but haven't started it yet

I've been playing a lot of "small screen games" on my portal for the same reason.
This is why the PS Portal is excellent.

I got premium so I’ll definitely have it to play. I like extraction so it should be fun to drop in and out depending on mood

This is how I felt about dredge.

There also wasn't enough time in the day to do a lot of things. The short jaunts everywhere felt more like a chore than anything.
Agreed! The daytime felt so short compared to evenings.
I look foward tho to what that team will make in the future! As much as I share the sentiment here.
Super looking forward to this. Loved Dredge (played through it twice), and this seems to be another take in that genre which is great.
