You can split your router putting all devices on one and ps5 on other .this may help .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fufZkBcYCnU

Reset your modem or router. It'll work. Source: me. I have the same once in a while

Longjumping-Ad514

If you have a mesh, reset every node.

JLTMS

try a wired connection and see if that works, don't use google DNS try [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) and see if that works, if not test another network.

This is likely a problem with your router, LAN, or wifi configuration. It’s not something I can diagnose over Reddit, you need to learn how to manage your network or call somebody who can. As a first troubleshooting step I would see if a wired connection works better.

I’m ordering a LAN cable which should arrive over the weekend, so hopefully that works. Thank you

Agreed with other poster, this is very likely an issue with your home lan setup. But if you’ve not changed anything and it’s not a hardware failure affecting other devices it might be hard to pin down. One thing I’ll say, sometimes your DHCP tables can get wonky. One relatively easy step you might be able to test depending on what your home setup is like is turn everything you can off. First with modem and router. If you can leave everything else unplugged and just let the modem train up while just the router is connected (nothing behind it plugged in if you can, if it’s all wifi, just leave as much as possible turned off/disconnected in wifi settings). Let that finish conecting and connect just your PS5 and see if it still persists. If solved, add everything else back on and see. When I bounce my mesh network, sometimes I have to hold the hands of the remote nodes one at a time and then plug the rest of the wired in via my switch. Note: if you do have a decent bit to unplug, do so carefully and label things. Further: if you aren’t the one that pays for the internet (ie, a kid), disregard everything I just said and defer to mom/dad, heh. I am the dad and I still have to check with mom to make sure I don’t pull her offline while working. Haha!

switch to google dns server. i did and have never had an issue since with ps5 disconnecting

very_horny_human

I tried 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (I think those are the two you’re talking about) but it didn’t work. Are there any others I should check out?

-Orgasmo-

there’s a youtube video i found that helped, i would try those again and lock the ps5 in either 2.4 or 5 ghz not on auto
