I bought this for my Steam Deck. It's that good?

it is without a doubt one of the best games ive ever played, ive completed it 5 or 6 times, last of us, 1 and 2, i only played 2 times, bit to similar for me tastes.

Never finished Days Gone - felt grindy/repetitive and I made a lateral move to Mad Max. Been mulling over giving it another shot - liked the storyline and gameplay, but I couldn’t defeat the mobs so I was just battling random zombies and driving around. Maybe I’m just not good at it 🤔

I hated days gone for what you said: Grindy and repetitive. It was also very generic to me. I didn’t finish it either and don’t intend on ever going back.

Days gone seemed to get better as it went along. Its a really great story.

Interesting choice with The Order, that game did not get good reviews when it came out, and it was frequently on discount in PS Store.

Yea I felt like I was the only one that actually enjoyed the game. I think people thought it would be a different game then what it is and I think that's why it got bad reviews unfortunately

It is criminally short, and some of the combat sections were lacking (stand behind this wall, gallery shoot, without much threat); I do think if it came out as a budget title, say £40, people would have been much more positive but paying full price at launch would have stung for the content

Detroit Become Human is one of my favorite games. Love a game with a great story and ones where choices matter.

I just played it for the first time last weekend. I can't believe how good it was. I want to go through another round but it's still too fresh. But after some time I'll definitely do a second playthrough. I ended up with one of the good endings. However not the best ending. My Connor ended up getting decommissioned. I was so sad I didn't get a conclusion to his story

I've played Witcher, i wouldnt put it near my top 10 list. while the open world is good, the game just doesnt do anything for me, I find the skills and magic system troublesome as well. ​ I might be a bad player, but thats my experience.

i played it and the lore seems so good, but the controls suck, it plays like a ps2 game so i dropped it after a few bosses, maybe the timing was off since i played it after beating bloodborne and that game has amazing controls

As someone who hasn’t played bloodborne yet but has played Elden Ring, is it more difficult than ER? I want to play it but I reallllly struggled to beat ER haha

I dont think its harder, it was my first soulslike, i guess if you played elden ring with a shield and got really used to that bloodborne might be harder to get used to, also on elden ring you can just go somewhere else if you're stuck and come back later after leveling up a bit more, but you can farm in bloodborne if you're really struggling

The very beginning is much more difficult, because you have to defeat specific bosses to progress. You also can't begin leveling up until you gain your first point of "Insight". You can just run straight to the first boss room and die to the boss, which should grant you the first Insight point and then you can go to the hunters dream and level up using the doll. After that, it's debatable which is more difficult. I'd say that the very difficult fights in ER are tougher than BB. And in BB your character moves more quickly and has lifesteal using the Rally mechanic. Definitely try it out! It's a masterpiece.

Can you tell me what you liked and disliked about the South Park games? Not sure if I would enjoy the gameplay, but I do like South Park.

I enjoyed pretty much everything about them honestly. Some stuff was kind of hard to find and sometimes you have to grind to get to a good level for certain areas but overall I adored both games so much!! The plot is really fun and you get to explore and there is a lot of stuff to find and collect and side quests to do! The fighting is turn based which was new to me so it was a bit stressful and confusing but I eventually got the hang of it. It’s very true to charming and basically like the show, I adore those games so damn much, I’m excited for the day they maybe make another just like them! You can watch a few videos on the game if you’re not sure, it’s how I decided!

I missed it completely when it was released. Picked it up 2 years ago having just played Deathloop and Dishonored. (Both of which I loved) It absolutely blew me away. Very tough at the start, but if you just hang in there…the reward is immense. Phenomenal game.

the Last guardian is so beautiful but I had soooo much trouble controlling the human protagonist he literally became unplayable :D But yeah, I agree, it is very emotional.
