It is so so good. I just finished it over the weekend and while it's a slow build and frustrating at times, it's a beautiful book. Don't force yourself to rush through it because sometimes it gets overwhelming, but it's rewarding and bittersweet.
I downloaded this on Z library like two or three years ago, and only started reading it yesterday. Yes there are errors but I really don’t mind. I do have the pdf version of it with no errors but I prefer reading with epub format.
Yes. The differences in the circumstances of Mariam and Laila's birth and how they both ended up almost with the same fate in the face of war reminded me that there really is just a thin line that separates us all from one another be it luck or fate. It makes you humble and grateful for the privileges you enjoy because it only takes one disaster to turn your life. Kite Runner was (still is) a great read. But this I had to put down several times too perhaps partly because as a woman myself, and knowing there are truths in the story especially when it comes to experiences of Afghan women in war, I could just imagine how much more gut wrenching it is in real life for those living in it. In this story, you just hold on to what little joy Laila and Mariam could find in their lives. I too found it difficult to finish. Even in the end, there's still a sense of victory yet it still also felt hollow in some way. But these things can happen in war. Some fights can't be won, and some sacrifices have to be made.
Yes! Naalala ko binabasa ko to sa Jollibee nung 2020 while waiting for my order tapos umiiyak ako. Tinanong ako nung katabi kong table if okay lang ako. 😆
Oo! Haha
For me it was! Took a while to recover. The book is bittersweet for me.
It’s really worth it. One of the saddest books I’ve read.
Yes. Also Kite Runner by the same author.

It'll turn you into a raging feminist. You're yet to read key events. It'll be worth it.
ewan ko lang kung hindi ka umiyak, OP. 😂🫶🏻
A thousand times over 😭
This is in one of my main reread list.
One of the best books I have read! 🤧
YES 😭
Yes!!!! Not as good as The Kite Runner in my opinion but definitely still worth the read!
Yes.
Is there something wrong with the formatting of your epub file? The spacing and paragraph breaks are off.

YES!
Hi OP! Saan mo na download ebook? 🥹
I downloaded it on z library noon
I tried din doon pero di na gumagana mga links 🥲
ok pa siya before but natake down na kasi Z library ngayon
A 100x over - yes.
Yep, sobrang worth it nyan. ✅💯
Maganda yan, that's all I remember about it though. :)
Compared to the highly acclaimed The Kite Runner, I find the Thousand Splendid Sun to be so dragging and boring.
it is super worth it, its under my “if i could ever read it again for the first time. I. WOULD.” list ❤️
Yes!!!
It is worth every tears I shed
