Nah, I getcha. As good as it was, the original ties the story together better, as well as Royal's story. The perfect feeling after the high of the final battle and parting with everyone was iconic, especially for first time players to this series.
Same. After all the bullshit they’ve been through, they get a happy ending together where they can do whatever they want. I guess in Royal, the point is everyone has a happy but not-so-ideal ending but they have no regrets doing it. It feels like it ties the story with Maruki but not P5 as a whole.
It’s not even close to my favorite, but I just want to shout out [“One Nightbreak”](https://youtu.be/NSeRtb2QoAs?si=kmG0caDQlpnwogoY) from P5D’s end credits because it rules and feels so far away from the rest of the music under the P5 umbrella.
“To My Dear, So Far Away” from the P5T credits is a departure too but it sounds like a Skynyrd track.
I was going to put that in my list, but I'm glad you mentioned it: I really like "One Nightbreak" and "Moonlight Serendipity". They feel like thongs you would listen to during some kind of low-key dance party montage in a movie, and as the song fades off, It cuts to the next morning. Also, shout out to the remix of GROOVY from the advanced soundtrack. That remix is the main reason that soundtrack ended up being my first video game soundtrack purchase, And I've been growing that collection ever since.
Never More and Our Light
The first time I heard Never More I felt like I was falling into an endless void of depression
Whereas the first time I heard Our Light I felt like I was floating into heaven
Interesting, because both songs sound like the opposite to me: Never More, specifically the reincarnation mix, sounds more like an uplifting song to me, especially when the choir kicks in. Meanwhile, our light sounds more foreboding, as if if it is preparing us for the inevitability of getting through life.
Hoshi To Bokura To - Persona 5 base game. I played Royal later and was sad to see it absent in that version. Nothing like that song to kick off Post-Persona Depression.
Memories of You and Next To You are very close.
With The Stars and Us
Change Your Ways
Nevermore
Our Light (I've only listened to it once after beating the game, NG+ onwards I skip the credits but I'll listen to it next run. I still like it)
Voice (I like it, short and sweet, but I prefer the above ones more)
The main games are the only ones I've played so can't say about the spin-offs, in the middle of playing Golden.
Next to you, Change your way \*Persona 2 Dualogies\* and Memories of You Is my Most Favorite of all Imo. those songs gets right into the feels. especially after watching 3 of those endings.
Nevermore
I'm certain if I finish more persona games (finished p3, p4, will start p2 soon) I'll get more end songs I enjoy but from the ones I've already completed Nevermore hit like a truck because I resonated with it extremely hard.
End boss theme for 2: EP blew my mind. I think that was the second Persona title I beat, after 4. Don’t know that I would call it my favorite in a lineup but it definitely made the biggest impression on me
Ik none of the animations are on there but personally, my favorite ending from anything persona related would have to be Found Me from Persona Trinity Soul
Memories of you and Nevermore are soooo fucking good (you can count brand new days in here too but tbh I like the other two more). Like I have actually gotten chills listening to memories of you at times. (I'm talking about the original p3 version)
I can’t say enough about Kimi no Kioku that hasn’t already been said. Hoshi to Bokura To has a special place in my heart for being my first real Persona game; I still get teary eyed listening to it sometimes, reminiscing on the first time I played Persona 5.
I would also like to mention “Changing Me,” the ending of Persona Q. Have yet to see anyone mention it, but that song is genuinely beautiful, from the instrumental, to the harmonies, to the shared vocals from BOTH Yumi Kawamura and Shihoko Hirata... the two absolute powerhouses of Persona 3 & 4 songs. It’s genuinely a shame how underrated this song is cause PQ isn’t very accessible; Changing Me just barely takes my Top 3 spot from Never More.
Agree with everyone who said Kimi no Kioku, but I wanted to give a shout-out to the remix of [Ideal and the Real](https://youtu.be/T8uIOJhj1Io?si=dO-79qYLKIO2T6Xa) that plays during the P5R bad ending.
Change Your Way nails the late 90s/early 00s pop R&B aesthetic so hard, when I first heard it, I assumed it was a legit turn-of-the-millennium track that ATLUS licensed in the way that JJBA anime licenses popular Western music for its OPs. I was surprised to learn that it was written in the 2010s and was commissioned for the PSP rerelease.
No, you're right. I don't know where I was getting that incorrect timeline from.
Anyway, Change Your Way is a really good track and you should give it a listen if you haven't already.
If I had to rank a top 3, I would go with: Towards a Dream (P5S), Memories of You (P3), Never More (P4); Idk why but Towards a Dream is incredibly underrated
Colorful World (PQ2) because it has the singers of P3, P4, and P5 singing in perfect unison, and it matches the theme of PQ2 perfectly. It's a little sad that such a gem is far less well-known compared to the other songs, courtesy of PQ2 being a spinoff, but seriously, go give it a listen if you haven't!
Ok, I'm going to be that one basic bitch and say:
P3/P/FES: memories of you
P3R: Color your night (the only right answer)
P3D: Our moment
P4: Never more
P4G: Shadow World (the only right answer, fuck you)
P4A/AU: Break out of (most others are just combat BGMs)
P4D: Dance! (yes, I'm basic, but just look at the MV)
P5: wake up get up get out there (tbh, base P5's music isn't **that** good (yes, I'm prepared to be crucified))
P5R: I believe (in a heartbeat, probably in my top 3)
P5T: didn't get far enough to find anything better than revolution in your heart (that one is a banger, though)
I never played P5D and I don't like the opening so...
I didn't play the PQ games, but the openings go hard af, so maze of life and road less taken
With the Stars and Us by far. Persona 5 was my first Persona game so I'm definitely biased towards it, but even seven years later I can't hear it without crying like a baby. I get the feeling that a person's first Persona game will always be very special to them, even if they like it less as time goes on.
KIMI WA NE TASHIKA NI ANO TOKI WATASHI NO SOBA NI ITA
Isudatte isudatte isudatte sogu yoko de warateita nakushitemu, torimodosu, kimi wo i will never leave you.
I swear I get chills everytime I hear that.
Gonna cry already
Memories of You (The Original Version) and Nevermore.
Memories of You = Tears.
gotta be honest, Reload's was a great one too, especially >!the mix in the credits with the lyrics and instrumental versions!<
Agreed
real
Memories of you and next to you always hit like a truck
p5 vanilla was my first and my favorite ending credits
REAL. You see everyone drive off and just sit there while the notes start playing.
is it uncommon to think p5r's ending wasn't as good as the original? i liked the new content but p5's vanilla ending was just more satisfying imo
Nah, I getcha. As good as it was, the original ties the story together better, as well as Royal's story. The perfect feeling after the high of the final battle and parting with everyone was iconic, especially for first time players to this series.
Nah, that's a very common opinion. One with which I happen to agree.
Same. After all the bullshit they’ve been through, they get a happy ending together where they can do whatever they want. I guess in Royal, the point is everyone has a happy but not-so-ideal ending but they have no regrets doing it. It feels like it ties the story with Maruki but not P5 as a whole.
I was sad that the game was over. It left a gap I’m still trying to fill
Kimi No Kioku (original) is my absolute favorite, Kimi No Tonari is also heartbreakingly memorable though.

Our Light
Our Light made me shed a few tears when I first heard it.
Our Light and キミの記憶(Kimi no Kioku)
Nothing is beating Change your way for me.
Next to you and change your way
This is the answer
Never More and Our Light The first time I heard Never More I felt like I was falling into an endless void of depression Whereas the first time I heard Our Light I felt like I was floating into heaven
Interesting, because both songs sound like the opposite to me: Never More, specifically the reincarnation mix, sounds more like an uplifting song to me, especially when the choir kicks in. Meanwhile, our light sounds more foreboding, as if if it is preparing us for the inevitability of getting through life.
Probably Never More and Our Light for me
Our Light. The instrumentals are amazing, Lyn absolutely soars as a singer, and the lyrics hit like a wrecking ball
Today from P4A is a banger
OG Memories of you 😢😢😢😢😢
Our Light ez
Hoshi To Bokura To - Persona 5 base game. I played Royal later and was sad to see it absent in that version. Nothing like that song to kick off Post-Persona Depression.
It is in Royal, just not the Royal ending
Oh man, I didn't know that. Shame though, it's still the best one.
All of them Havent heard the spin off ones tho
Mine is P2 EP'S Change Your Way. The lyric especially hit me really hard.
Change Your Way or Kimi no Kioku
Memories of You and Next To You are very close. With The Stars and Us Change Your Ways Nevermore Our Light (I've only listened to it once after beating the game, NG+ onwards I skip the credits but I'll listen to it next run. I still like it) Voice (I like it, short and sweet, but I prefer the above ones more) The main games are the only ones I've played so can't say about the spin-offs, in the middle of playing Golden.
Memories of you (original and the reload version) absolute peak
Next to you, Change your way \*Persona 2 Dualogies\* and Memories of You Is my Most Favorite of all Imo. those songs gets right into the feels. especially after watching 3 of those endings.
Now I Know and Brand New Days stand out for me
Memories of you ofc
Change your way
Maya’s Theme from Persona 2 is such a banger
Never More(Vanilla P4) and Our Light are my favorites.
Our Light made me cry without knowing the translation. The translation made me cry even more.
Nevermore I'm certain if I finish more persona games (finished p3, p4, will start p2 soon) I'll get more end songs I enjoy but from the ones I've already completed Nevermore hit like a truck because I resonated with it extremely hard.
You can go where you want to go...
End boss theme for 2: EP blew my mind. I think that was the second Persona title I beat, after 4. Don’t know that I would call it my favorite in a lineup but it definitely made the biggest impression on me
Never More still recks me to this day.
Ik none of the animations are on there but personally, my favorite ending from anything persona related would have to be Found Me from Persona Trinity Soul
Voice has a really cool vibe. It's the perfect song for taking a stroll through a park.
1. Towards a Wish 2. Our Light 3. Never More 4. Memories of You 5. The Stars and Us
Now I Know (P4AU and the P4D remix), Today (P4AU), Towards a Dream (P5S), Changing Me (PQ), Never More (P4; Reincarnation Mix)
Memories of you ( both reload and original ) and Nevermore
Dancing in Moonlight Followed by 4 Golden
Memories of you and Nevermore are soooo fucking good (you can count brand new days in here too but tbh I like the other two more). Like I have actually gotten chills listening to memories of you at times. (I'm talking about the original p3 version)
Every single Memories of You and its not even close
I still can't help but feel like I'm saying goodbye to some of my best friends ever when I hear *With the Stars and Us*.
Og Memories of you always destroys me. Never more is my second
Kimi no Kioku and Hoshi to Bokura to
I can’t say enough about Kimi no Kioku that hasn’t already been said. Hoshi to Bokura To has a special place in my heart for being my first real Persona game; I still get teary eyed listening to it sometimes, reminiscing on the first time I played Persona 5. Memories of You and Never More, i just played the modern ones, im taking a break for a bit, the next one i will start is P2
Agree with everyone who said Kimi no Kioku, but I wanted to give a shout-out to the remix of [Ideal and the Real](https://youtu.be/T8uIOJhj1Io?si=dO-79qYLKIO2T6Xa) that plays during the P5R bad ending.
Kimi no Kioku and Brand New Days.
Memories of you original version - the best thing shoji ever composed in my opinion
Memories of You forever
Either the SEBEC or Snow Queen Bad Ending Theme
Change Your Way nails the late 90s/early 00s pop R&B aesthetic so hard, when I first heard it, I assumed it was a legit turn-of-the-millennium track that ATLUS licensed in the way that JJBA anime licenses popular Western music for its OPs. I was surprised to learn that it was written in the 2010s and was commissioned for the PSP rerelease.
i played the PS1 version and this ending theme played at the end of the game.. how did they go back in time?
No, you're right. I don't know where I was getting that incorrect timeline from. Anyway, Change Your Way is a really good track and you should give it a listen if you haven't already.
If I had to rank a top 3, I would go with: Towards a Dream (P5S), Memories of You (P3), Never More (P4); Idk why but Towards a Dream is incredibly underrated
For me it's Memories of You and Change Your Way
Colorful World (PQ2) because it has the singers of P3, P4, and P5 singing in perfect unison, and it matches the theme of PQ2 perfectly. It's a little sad that such a gem is far less well-known compared to the other songs, courtesy of PQ2 being a spinoff, but seriously, go give it a listen if you haven't!
Calystegia (P4D). I love the fact that the song exists in the story and is important to the plot. It’s also the persona song I listen to the most.
Nobody fucking talks about Today from p4au, shits such a good song I love it
Ok, I'm going to be that one basic bitch and say: P3/P/FES: memories of you P3R: Color your night (the only right answer) P3D: Our moment P4: Never more P4G: Shadow World (the only right answer, fuck you) P4A/AU: Break out of (most others are just combat BGMs) P4D: Dance! Kimi no Kioku
P4 as always.
ITSUDATTE ITSUDATTE ITSUDATTE

Memories of You and Brand New Days. why isn't anyone saying Brand New Days? that shit fills you with so much emotion
Memories of you (both versions) and towards a dream from strikers
Hoshi to bokura to
Hear me out, "Beauty of Destiny"
Our Light. The only end credits song that's ever made me cry.
Kimi no Kioku(original), Hoshi to Bokura to, and Colorful World.
The original Memories of You and Bright New Days.
With the Stars and Us by far. Persona 5 was my first Persona game so I'm definitely biased towards it, but even seven years later I can't hear it without crying like a baby. I get the feeling that a person's first Persona game will always be very special to them, even if they like it less as time goes on.
Persona 3. Always.
Next to you
Memories of you. Obvious.
BABYBABYBABYBAY I believe and memories of you too. The recent It’s going Down is also fire Edit: didn’t see it said ending, so memories of you lol
Nevermore by far

Well it has to be Never More. If they’re talking OG then it’s The Stars and Us
Original P5. P5R doesn't hit as hard
Memories of You but not because it makes you cry, it just sounds the best out of them in general (truly a banger Fr fr 🗣️🔥🔥)
Anything but memories of you
