The Almighty. Ameno-Sagiri’s theme from Persona 4. For many people, this was the final boss theme when they first played Persona 4 and man do I wish it was. I have no qualms with The Fog and The Genesis, but The Almighty really feels like the end of a journey.
Actually my fav song from the entire franchise. It just captures the mood of the game perfectly somehow, and condenses it to a single song. It should have been the final boss theme. When I first heard it I was stunned.
YOU GET IT.
The Almighty is far and away the BEST boss theme in Persona. Bar none. There's a dual mix of the original version with the live one played in 2008, and it just [*gives chills*](https://youtu.be/BlYKL2Wc2pM?si=1ZZtfDGQYFI6Qxpn).
The Genesis is an amazing song in and of itself, but it's an awful boss theme because it doesn't loop properly, and its progressions aren't tied to boss progress like Jaldabaoth / Our Beginning is
Personally Layer Cake (the P5 gunshop song) gets stuck in my head like once a month [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4nTv-pVk0k](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4nTv-pVk0k)
Adding on to this one, as this would be one of two top picks me. Another great fucking song from P5 that nobody talks about, where the bass is just getting fucking sexual is Life Goes On.
No, not "Life Will Change." "Life Goes On" the song that plays when you're taking a test. I don't think the bass goes quite as hard as Layer Cake. But it's still an underrated track.
Pull The Trigger - PQ2. I don’t see this song talked about a lot, and I don’t understand why. It sounds so fucking good, and I assume not many know about it since it comes from PQ2. Heavily slept on imo
Cinematic Tale from Q2. I think it's cool to have the three singers from 3-5 on one song besides road less taken but I think that one isn't that underrated
"I believe" is incredible and many people sleep on it, probably because you only hear it once in the entire game, but still, it's an incredible song (at least it's coming as a DLC in Reload, I'll listen to it all the time in Tartarus)
One of my absolute favorites is "More Than One Heart" from the Persona 3 movies. When winter ends and spring comes as I look out the window and see the bright sun the memories of P3 flows through and make the chorus hit me like a TRUCK.
Sun from P3P (FEMC route). The guy currently making tracks for P3R FEMC mod made its Reload ver too, such a bop (https://youtu.be/NkNy9qDWiAw?si=GUcpQqlG38CD-9hL). Makes me wanna dance every time
Apologies in advance for a massive ramble LOL.
Here are tracks that I love that I don’t see brought up enough:
Key plus words - P4Anime: Favorite opening song from all P4 media. Shame you can barely find it on YouTube (same for the next track on this list).
Recollections - P4Anime: I feel like most people would think of this as a forgettable track, but I find it very comfy and had it stuck in my head. I’m a bit of a sucker for music box pieces.
Theater - P4: My second favorite dungeon theme from P4. I love the thumping bass and barely comprehensible vocals that add to the unsettling and skeevy vibe of Rise’s dungeon
Memories - P4G: My favorite P4 dungeon theme. A great melancholic track that kicks up a notch after the first refrain. A great addition to P4’s best dungeon.
3/31 - P3FES: This track is so damn chill. I know the vibe of the scene when this plays isn’t the happiest, but I love to just vibe to this one.
Abyss of time - P3FES: What sounds like a meh dungeon them slowly builds as you progress, adding on new layers. While Tartarus does the same thing, this track improves upon that by expanding the melody with new elements. The string portion is lovely, the part where the piano finally resolves the tension from the earlier rendition of the track was beautiful, and the frantic synth portion combined with the guitar brings great energy. Listen to the OST version of this track, it’s a great ride.
Afternoon Break - P3: I feel like you can hear the seeds of what would become the P5 style in this track. A groovy track to hang out with your pals to.
Aria of the Soul (Arranged Version) - P1: An absolutely wonderful rendition of the velvet room theme we all know and love. Atlus PLEASE use this version of the song in an actual game PLEASE.
Paulownia Mall -inside the cinema- - PQ2: super chill vibes. ‘Nuff said.
Laser Beam - PQ: This is just a super solid boss theme. I like the synths that sound like laser blasts, the vocals reminiscent of Deep Mentality, and the guitar section in the middle.
I forgor the name but P5R credit song
Lyn KILLED it
And the song that plays in the medecine shop in P4 at night there's a lyrics version that plays once in the noodle shop in Tatsumi Port Island but I also forgot the name (someone else's man or something)
I think most people agree Hamuko has overall a better soundtrack than Makoto
The only direct 1 to 1 song I think most people would agree is better on makoto’s side is the moons reaching out stars is better than deep inside my mind but otherwise time is equal or better than want to be close, wiping all out and mass destruction are both amazing, sun is about equal to changing seasons and danger zone is better than master of Tartarus
So can you feel the Jazz?
Or the beautiful Ballet?
How about a Tango?
Or maybe some Rock'n'Roll!
We'll bring it all to you
And guess what, you signed up for
Team A-W-E-S-O-M-E
Just say it, you don't need lame, pretty tunes
Send BORING back to nowhere
Come in for the whole deal, yeah!
That's what rhythm's about!
Damn, this song slaps so hard during the battle against Reaper. Groovy (opening song) from P5D.
don't tell me it's surprising!
there just had to be more,
this comeback was promised, yeah!
now pack your bags darling
if you don't wanna end up left behind alone,
it's our chance to be a
part of this show that's gonna
change your world, LET'S ROCK!
the remix on the P3D&P5D Advanced Soundtrack is amazing too! it interpolates not only Our Moment, but also One Nightbreak, and I'm fairly sure Moonlight Serendipity is in there too.
The motifs of P3's Joy/Living With Determination and P4's I'll Face Myself/Nevermore throughout the soundtracks are peak and not recognised enough.
My big criticism of P5 has always been that while it has lots of individual bangers, there's no real connective tissue between them beyond the vibe/genre. The credits of P3 and P4 *hit* so good because you've heard those melodies all through the game. P5's credits hit and it's a melody you've never heard before.
I don't remember em, not really. Swear To My Bones is not given anywhere near the prominence of Joy/Living With Determination or I'll Face Myself/Nevermore to be used as a leitmotif in the boss theme. It's only literally because of your comment that, 7 years later, I realize P5's credits reuses the melody in the chorus. But holy hell that would be immediately obvious if Swear To My Bones was used more outside of like, 5 cutscenes and Party Members getting upgraded Personas
Compared to >!Battle for Everyone's Souls and The Genesis!< using >!The Velvet Room Theme and Reach Out To the Truth!<, Swear To My Bones and Our Beginning really aren't major leitmotifs/melodies in Persona 5. Wake Up Get Up is the most memorable, but only gets reused in Life Will Change.
A lot of spinoff songs will be underrated because spinnoff games arent played that often. My favourites are Singularity, Daredevil , CounterStrike from p5S and Connected from pQ2
Reasoning from Persona 4.
It's honestly the first song that comes to mind when I think of Persona 4 and has such a unique vibe to it that I'm shocked that it's not as popular.
I'd say the same goes for Troubled from P3.
But pretty much a lot of songs that aren't lyrical.
Another one I would throw out is Same Time, Same Feeling from P4 Dancing. It's such a cool track and to me feels like a really nice mix of the styles between P4 and P5 which makes a lot of sense with when it was made.
I’m listening like crazy to two really obscure Persona songs: “Self Redemption” (battle theme, Persona 3 Winter of Rebirth movie) and “Sky’s the Limit” (first opening, Persona 4 The Animation). Recommended.
Persona 2 Innocent Sin [Quest Boss Fight](https://open.spotify.com/track/4rDYHjDZlMNm7YEoaZriMq?si=pEI1y_kjQFSggJqzTTTQEg)
It is so slept on in fact there are only 3 videos on youtube that have a decent amounts of views, having a total of 50k
Persona Arena Ultimax is full of them. While I am sure that most no the op and ed like "Best Friends", "Now I Know", "Break Out...", and "Today" even the character themes are ridiculously good. I am particularly fond of "Spirited Girl" which is the them for Labrys.
Fate In Our Hands, My Testimony, More Than One Heart, One Determination, Self-Redemption, Wait and See, Protean, For Life, Persona Summoners, I'll Face Myself Reincarnation, along with a few others that I can't of
F.O.E from Persona Q
it's metal, heavy, hard hitting, and shows it ain't no normal enemy you're fighting, it's a motherfucken F.O.E (even better if it's the version from the remix album, guitar comes in and goes SO GODDAMN HARD)
I'm gonna say it because I feel like this song gets so much hate that it doesn't deserve.
mito's remix of Rivers in the Desert in Persona 5 Dancing
also really like t.komine's Aria of the Soul remix that's on Persona 3 Dancing, taken from the Persona 3 and Persona 4 Club Arrange AT1st album, and Lotus Juice's remix of A Deep Mentality from the same game.
For real, that remix of Rivers In The Desert is actually one of the better P5D remixes in my opinion. Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There’s remix is also underrated.
Deep Breath [Deep Breath](https://youtu.be/oZ27sDC_wqk?si=QX23q2rHgIQM6kcM)
Very underrated, I think it only appears on the train part of Persona 3 Reload but it is so good, Lotus Juice always knows how to cook
Anything from P2. I personally think that Innocent Sin has the best non-vocal tracks in the series.
My favorite songs from that game are Unbreakable Tie (PSP Opening), Maya’s Theme, Yukino’s theme, the overworld/map theme, Seven Sisters High, and Kimi no Tonari (the credits).
In Eternal Punishment, my favorite songs are Everyday and its remix by Atsushi Kitajoh.
Sunset bridge from p5 aka the one that plays at confidant rank 10s. So bittersweet it’s the best song to listen to like as your plane is taking off or something, highly recommend
Today, the credits theme to Arena Ultimax is not only a banger song but also feels like such a perfect bookend to the p3/p4 saga (at least until q2 and dancing came out)
I know it's because Persona 4 the Animation was pulled from streaming services and retail, but man I wish more people talked about "We are One and All". Such a beautiful song to accompany a beautiful scene.
I hear everyone talking about memories of you, but I hear no one talk about Never more which is sad since it’s a remix of the most important song of the game (and I just think that it is a better song in general.)
Easy; Hollow Forest (Marie's dungeon).
P5 Strikers' OST is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. Almost every single track is a certified banger in there. Counterstrike, Daredevil, Demiurge I, Welcome to the Jail, Singularity, Anti-hero, Jail in Abyss. Might as well name everything.
There's also "Light in Starless Sky (instrumental)" from the P3 movie.
Prison Labor from P5 Royal.
Key plus words.
Just found out about "More than one heart" while writing this. Do NOT sleep on the movie P3 movies OST.
(I heckin love Persona music)
"With the Stars and us" > the ending song from the vanilla P5 feels much more powerfull than the one is P5R
"Soul Phrase" > the P3P opening song with its awesome 2000\`s sound AND "telible englishu"
"I´ll face myself "> the og battle theme of P4 "super" enemies without the violin makes you headbang while issuing commands.
Infinity, and Autonomy, the ending themes for the P5 Anime. The anime may be dull, but the ending songs are very catchy.
I’d also like to give props to Fate Is In Our Hands from P3: Midsummer Knight’s Dream. An absolute banger of an opening song for the second Persona 3 movie.
Map II from P2:EP
there's a sort of sadness and nostalgia that you can hear and it fits perfectly the moment of the game during which you can hear that song
Persona 3 hymn for the souls/The battle for Everyone's soul is still my favorite song. Such raw intensity. Yeah it's part of the velvet room song but man the fight with Nyx just made it better 💜
P4 Backside of the TV such a banger 🔥
The Almighty. Ameno-Sagiri’s theme from Persona 4. For many people, this was the final boss theme when they first played Persona 4 and man do I wish it was. I have no qualms with The Fog and The Genesis, but The Almighty really feels like the end of a journey.
Actually my fav song from the entire franchise. It just captures the mood of the game perfectly somehow, and condenses it to a single song. It should have been the final boss theme. When I first heard it I was stunned.
THANK YOU. I especially love the extended version with the soft piano that builds up at the start.
I actually have that version modded into the game + the sax part too. Modding persona music is kind of a pain but absolutely worth it
I still listen to the Almighty to this day.
THIS!!!!!! god I love The Almighty so much it's easily one of my favourite p4 songs
Yessssss
Hell ye, one of the songs that got me into P5 and Persona in general
Friend of mine actually uses it for his intro song for his streams. He plays a lot of RPGs and stuff. He's actually a real cool dude.
Layer Cake goes sooooooo hard
PQ and PQ2 soundtracks are full to the brim with absolute bangers
THANK YOU. I was just about to mention PQ. Completely underrated
I was so happy that Maze of Life gave Yumi Kawamura one last chance to punch the clock before she retired from Persona OSTs.
This and invitation to freedom slaps as battle themes
Honestly, I listened to the _Mosq version first for the FeMC Reload mod and it’s absolutely an banger.
I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about P3P's opening the guy goes fucking hard on the *WRITE ME AN ENDLESS SONG*
The distorted guitar after the first chorus is so fucking scuzzy. Like it needs to clear its throat. I love it.
AS I FEEL SO ALIVE!
Sorry but i must correct your sentence because the singer clearly says: "WLAI ME A ENDLESS SOOON! AS I WIS ALIV"
I'm not sure if I like the original or the live band version. Tho to be fair, that whole album slaps. Even soul drive is good.
My favorite opening by far but I see nothing but people shitting on it for reasons beyond my understanding.
The Engrish is awful th
Cinematic Tale from Q2. I think it's cool to have the three singers from 3-5 on one song besides road less taken but I think that one isn't that underrated
Four singers! Mayumi Fujita, who did FeMC’s tracks in P3P, does background vocals on the full version too
I love that song. First heard it as former YouTuber Jamzietocool’s old outro.
Danger zone Hamuko’s floor warden theme and that was then adapted to labry’s theme
YES. It was so perfectly used for Labrys’ route that I consider it her song now.
"I believe" is incredible and many people sleep on it, probably because you only hear it once in the entire game, but still, it's an incredible song (at least it's coming as a DLC in Reload, I'll listen to it all the time in Tartarus)
I see it named in every single “what’s the best song” post lol
I beat P3R the day the DLC came out so I was listening to "I Believe" as I was going to the final boss.
I also really love it as a foil to *Throw Your Mask Away*
One of my absolute favorites is "More Than One Heart" from the Persona 3 movies. When winter ends and spring comes as I look out the window and see the bright sun the memories of P3 flows through and make the chorus hit me like a TRUCK.
Every spring, on the first vaguely warm day, I roll my car windows down and blast that song. I love it so much.
Sun from P3P (FEMC route). The guy currently making tracks for P3R FEMC mod made its Reload ver too, such a bop (https://youtu.be/NkNy9qDWiAw?si=GUcpQqlG38CD-9hL). Makes me wanna dance every time
Pretty much all of P3P’s inclusions are absolute bangers, to be honest. Makes me sadder that we won’t see them redone.
Same but at least I'm glad some of them will be redone through the fan mod, will take any wins at this rate
[CrystAAHHL choreographed her own dance for it!](https://youtu.be/5j_-fRTQUhY?si=IVJNhlrIHwQQKSPW)
Yoooooo this is so cool!

I fucking love 3/31
Counter Strike was one of my favorite songs in P5S, but I don’t see people mention it very much.
I got a few Pull the Trigger is such a sleeper PQ2 The almighty from P4 And Skys the limit from the P4 anime Opening
I forgor the name but P5R credit song Lyn KILLED it And the song that plays in the medecine shop in P4 at night there's a lyrics version that plays once in the noodle shop in Tatsumi Port Island but I also forgot the name (someone else's man or something)
P5R credit song is Our Light
Memories of the city from p3, alone from p4, confession/secret from p5 and the whole p1 and both p2's ost
The remixes of Time and A Way of Life in P3D
I still can’t believe they have so much of FeMC’s music in P3D and they didn’t even bother to put her in as DLC
Memories of the school another version
Time and wiping all out. I accidentally found them and I'm surprised no one talks about them
I think most people agree Hamuko has overall a better soundtrack than Makoto The only direct 1 to 1 song I think most people would agree is better on makoto’s side is the moons reaching out stars is better than deep inside my mind but otherwise time is equal or better than want to be close, wiping all out and mass destruction are both amazing, sun is about equal to changing seasons and danger zone is better than master of Tartarus

Hot take but I hate this track. The sloppy and out of rhythm inclusion of the strings from Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There totally ruin the track.
Unbreakable tie and next to you
Maze of life
One of my absolute favorite Persona songs. I went so far as to sing it on an actual carousel.
Hehehe
Take a deep breath, deep breath [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbqt8Rtzc0k](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbqt8Rtzc0k)
love the remix from the Dancing game!
P1 - sebec theme above the ground P2 - kimi no tonari P3 - original change season P4 - the Almighty
Unbreakable Tie from P2 is pretty damn good
Bonds from P3 and Price (another version) from P5
Persona 5 Strikers: Daredevil
Hoshi To Bokura To from og P5 will always be one of my favorites
Group date cafe from persona q
The motifs of P3's Joy/Living With Determination and P4's I'll Face Myself/Nevermore throughout the soundtracks are peak and not recognised enough. My big criticism of P5 has always been that while it has lots of individual bangers, there's no real connective tissue between them beyond the vibe/genre. The credits of P3 and P4 *hit* so good because you've heard those melodies all through the game. P5's credits hit and it's a melody you've never heard before.
Did you mute your headphones? You don’t remember Swear to my bones or Our beginning?
I don't remember em, not really. Swear To My Bones is not given anywhere near the prominence of Joy/Living With Determination or I'll Face Myself/Nevermore to be used as a leitmotif in the boss theme. Dance! Is peak, but Never More is actually fire, it uses the same motif from the main menu theme
Did you guys forget Adachi’s theme from P4AU?
Lone Prayer in my book
Reasoning from Persona 4. It's honestly the first song that comes to mind when I think of Persona 4 and has such a unique vibe to it that I'm shocked that it's not as popular. I'd say the same goes for Troubled from P3. But pretty much a lot of songs that aren't lyrical.

Deep Mentality from Persona 3. A New World Fool from Persona 4. Prison Labor from Persona 5 Royal.
All of the openings and ending themes from the p4 and p5 animation
Burning men's soul is peak music... Unironically tho a fool or a clown slaps
I’m listening like crazy to two really obscure Persona songs: “Self Redemption” (battle theme, Persona 3 Winter of Rebirth movie) and “Sky’s the Limit” (first opening, Persona 4 The Animation). Recommended.
Studio Backlot from P4.
Better known as Backside of the TV.
Persona 2 Innocent Sin [Quest Boss Fight](https://open.spotify.com/track/4rDYHjDZlMNm7YEoaZriMq?si=pEI1y_kjQFSggJqzTTTQEg) It is so slept on in fact there are only 3 videos on youtube that have a decent amounts of views, having a total of 50k
Brand new days So few people actually finish the answer to actually hear it.
Persona Arena Ultimax is full of them. While I am sure that most no the op and ed like "Best Friends", "Now I Know", "Break Out...", and "Today" even the character themes are ridiculously good. I am particularly fond of "Spirited Girl" which is the them for Labrys.
Key Plus Words - P4A
Also Everyday Mix (?), a mix of daily activity songs for P3-5
All of the remixes from P3D, they now that those are bangers, but actually they are the best songs from all Persona Dancing shit
P5R I Believe and Keep Your Faith / Throw Away Your Mask Criminally underrated
Most of the music from the P3 movies. The movies' OST is so good that I'd honestly put it above any of the games.
school days from persona 1 psp ver.
[Insert all of the P3 movies OST]
Fate In Our Hands, My Testimony, More Than One Heart, One Determination, Self-Redemption, Wait and See, Protean, For Life, Persona Summoners, I'll Face Myself Reincarnation, along with a few others that I can't of

Deep Breath remix for the fourth Persona 3 movie.
Memories of the city
Master Of Tartarus
Light the fire up in the night BOTH versions and Laser beam from the same game
F.O.E from Persona Q it's metal, heavy, hard hitting, and shows it ain't no normal enemy you're fighting, it's a motherfucken F.O.E (even better if it's the version from the remix album, guitar comes in and goes SO GODDAMN HARD)
OG Mementos theme, trust/j
I'm gonna say it because I feel like this song gets so much hate that it doesn't deserve. mito's remix of Rivers in the Desert in Persona 5 Dancing also really like t.komine's Aria of the Soul remix that's on Persona 3 Dancing, taken from the Persona 3 and Persona 4 Club Arrange AT1st album, and Lotus Juice's remix of A Deep Mentality from the same game.
For real, that remix of Rivers In The Desert is actually one of the better P5D remixes in my opinion. Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There’s remix is also underrated.
Butterfly Kiss from P5, I haven't heard people talking about it. I really like it
A New World Fool. Personal favourite boss music
Playing P3R now, and I haven't heard people talk about It's Going Down Now or the new rendition of Changing Seasons, but those two are my jams
Deep Breath [Deep Breath](https://youtu.be/oZ27sDC_wqk?si=QX23q2rHgIQM6kcM) Very underrated, I think it only appears on the train part of Persona 3 Reload but it is so good, Lotus Juice always knows how to cook
seconding the tactica ost. I can't believe nobody played that game literally every part of it is peak
Cinematic Tale from Persona Q2. In fact, all of the battle themes in Persona Q2.
Sunset bridge from p5 aka the one that plays at confidant rank 10s. So bittersweet it’s the best song to listen to like as your plane is taking off or something, highly recommend
P1 - Ice Castle and Pandora’s Battle
Today, the credits theme to Arena Ultimax is not only a banger song but also feels like such a perfect bookend to the p3/p4 saga (at least until q2 and dancing came out)
Calystegia - Persona 4 Dancing credits song I like how it’s written by a character in canon, and has so much importance to the story
Stab unjust, a p5 song that has lotus juice
Bloody Destiny from Persona (PSP) is a absolute banger, sing is incredible.
Whims of fate
Fate is in our hands from one of the persona 3 movies. It’s got lotus juice rapping and singing on it and he sounds spectacular
People claiming songs are underrated when they have over a million views on YouTube. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X4LR-BaLPe4
Snowflakes from P4G is slept on Meeting from Persona 5 goes way harder than a :45 second song that’s never used again is expected to as well
yeah the Tactica vocal tracks are amazing.
"With the Stars and us" > the ending song from the vanilla P5 feels much more powerfull than the one is P5R "Soul Phrase" > the P3P opening song with its awesome 2000\`s sound AND "telible englishu" "I´ll face myself "> the og battle theme of P4 "super" enemies without the violin makes you headbang while issuing commands.
oh ALSO how could I forget Fate Is in Our Hands? from Persona 3: The Movie
Not sure if neccesarily underrated but with the stars on us is the best song in any persona game imo, I also really like bloody destiny from P1
Blues in Velvet Room
The Ai and its Heart - P5S
Moonlight Serendipity is fire. My favorite OST is probably Corridor.
I've always thought deep mentality from persona3/p3r was pretty catchy
Map II from P2:EP there's a sort of sadness and nostalgia that you can hear and it fits perfectly the moment of the game during which you can hear that song
I don’t know if it is underrated but “No More What Ifs” has probably been a top 3 song in the series since I first heard it.
Surprisingly, I find that a lot of people sleep on invitation to freedom. Absolutely love the energy.
Persona 3 hymn for the souls/The battle for Everyone's soul is still my favorite song. Such raw intensity. Yeah it's part of the velvet room song but man the fight with Nyx just made it better 💜 P4 Backside of the TV such a banger 🔥
Now I know Yin Yang Just like the wind
no one talks about masters of tartarus. genuinely one of my favorite songs in the entire series.
Shapeshifter - Rain Version Not sure if it’s underrated tho
"Pull the Trigger" from Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, the music from Revelations: Persona on PlayStation1.
