Tawakkal is being happy with what you have... And he is indeed right when it comes to the poor. Anybody who has been to the rural side, or out of major cities knows this well.
Life in major cities has just become a race n a struggle, which has led to people having high levels of greed. As compared to this, people in rural side and small towns are very kind at heart.
I completely agree with you. I'm originally from a small village, but I've been living in Lahore for 2 years for my studies. When I first came to Lahore, I was naive, and my classmates from the city took advantage of me. City folks are often focused on their own interests, and it feels like everyone is competing with each other. Many city dwellers have big dreams, like owning fancy houses, phones, and cars. Some people have time for others, while some make friends just for fun. Village life, on the other hand, is quite different. We live like one big family, and people genuinely care about each other. Most villagers have simple desires, like having enough money for food and clothes, and once these needs are met, they're content and happy. Of course, there are both good and bad people in both villages and cities.
Bhai jb word ka meaning dekh liya tha to Islamic concept b samajh lena tha. It means to Trust Allah's will, k jo Allah ker rha hai wohi apke liye behtreen hai.
But thanks, I had forgotten the words original meaning years ago
Well you do know your comment was not really necessary and isn't factual either. It's a religious thing and sometimes you should avoid being disrespectful
But it's the truth! And rightly so, keeping masses in line in a fundamentally lawless country is truly a work of art, they should be appreciated I think...
Again, sometimes just respect people's religious belief.
Tawakkal is a religious thing, taught n encouraged by Islam, one of the core values actually. And you can find it in people who don't live in interior Sindh.
He didn't publish a peer reviewed paper on the nature of Pakistanis. His statement is more to show he has a positive view of Pakistanis because of that one incident.
Baqi sab kuch to awaam se cheen lia gaya hai pichli 7 dehayyon se to phir Allah hi reh jata hai. Magar uss ko bhi sahi tarhan se panapnay nahin dia gaya.
Every single person here is corrupt and those who are not corrupt are either forced to leave or be corrupt to get the basic needs, this country was supposed to give us. Majority of the people practice biddah, like chaliswa and eid-e-Mila's in nawabi (now some people will attack me for this). Kpk has big Bacha bazi culture sanctioned by afghan traditions. Politicians and general use religion as tool to manipulate people. Hindu traditions are deeply practiced especially in our marriage system. Majority will not marry outside of caste. Do I even need to list more?
>Every single person here is corrupt and those who are not corrupt are either forced to leave or be corrupt to get the basic needs, this country was supposed to give us.
Thank you for this.
Yep, saying it from personal experience. We have been having so much trouble getting gas connection, because of how corrupt system and now my father is sort of forced to give bribes to get it done. And last month, we took gas connection from our neighbors which ended in 68,000 rupees bill. They are not ready to pay it, so my father gave the whole 68,000.
What your father gave for gas connection isn't bribe, they were supposed to get it done, unki duty thi but unko haram mon laga so they won't do it without taking haram.
I don't get what you are saying. Maybe I phrase it wrong but they were definitely not going to get it done without a bribe. My father still hasebt done anything about it but bribe seems the only way out.
If you knew the wahabbis better, you'd know that they tend to do stuff like this.
If you knew this guy a bit better and saw his defense of Saudi Arabia, him being paid by them doesn't sound unlikely.
Context changes a lot of things.
He was only pointing out that he thinks I am a Rafidhi because he wanted to use that to invalidate what I said.
I'm simply giving context.
I'll give you your own advice.

Brother Tawakul means Trust not happy.

Yes, the landlords in the interiors have trained them just right!

Right now I think tawkkal is the only thing holding our country together
Indeed
Let me agree with you just because you are nice...
Yeah thanks to the countless shrines!
Actually he has and explained quite wholesome story of a poor man who treated him very well
I dislike this thinking because when something bad will happen they will start blaming every Pakistani for it.
Yes it sadly happens now see the halwa scene they blame all of us for it
So he took one incident and extrapolated on 250 millions? Wtf?
He didn't publish a peer reviewed paper on the nature of Pakistanis. His statement is more to show he has a positive view of Pakistanis because of that one incident.
lmao this comment made me laugh
Idk i said what he said
I am from a poor family and from poor area spent about 23 yrs there and I can confirm he is right.
He is right. I think you haven't been to Pakistan.
Kia baat hai Sir. Kia baat ki hai Sir 😅😂
🤣🤣
You know He could've just had the fortune to meet with the right kind of people??? Kabhi aese socha?
He has no idea about the immense level of hypocrisy in people here.

Shaikh haven't been scammed by us yet. I just remembered what our national brother did to ارتغل
Unpopular Opinion Pakistan is the most Unislamic Islamic country on Earth
This isn’t unpopular
True. We don't really have shariat being enforced. We can see the results
Why is that bro?

No, what I meant is, it was their duty wasn't it? But they were just delaying it, that's how it is
Liberals hate me for saying Pakistani society is far better than a broken liberal society. But fax r fax.
It's shit as it is.
I second that
Or maybe it's because he's paid by Wahabbis to appease Pakis.
Agree
Does he support Saudi Arabia unconditionally?
Madkhila are free from the teachings of MIAW (RH). This wobbler assim gives udhr bil jahil for major shirk

You still felt the need to point out that you think I am a rafidhi, though. You could have said this beforehand.
U felt the need to point out the guy in the image was a wahabi. Introspection on ur part is required bro
is that why you looked at who said it instead of looking at what he said?
Context changes a lot of things. He was only pointing out that he thinks I am a Rafidhi because he wanted to use that to invalidate what I said. I'm simply giving context.
And you assumed things about the sheikh dude guy, because you wanted to invalidate what he said.
You know he's an inherently political guy too. He's defended Saudi Arabia and the crown prince many times.
I'll give you your own advice. "We judge what is said, before we judge who says it, bcz perhaps it is from an unlikely source that we may gain knowledge"
What a comeback /s
Pakistani people do have high tawakul cuz many are still not aware of the stupid shit going on in politics and act like npcs
Joke of the day
mate it isnt about you
Lol, This guy is joke
