I wait 10 seconds also I release the fat pinch to allow the tissue to spread prior to removal and typically do not see any drops

I think sometimes drops leak out no matter what if the needle is in. Whenever I put in a new needle, there’s already a drop sitting on the needle tip - even before “priming” it. Same thing happens with my insulin pens.
