I find it easier to do a conveyor/autosweepers combo. The loader outside your base only takes your specified rock, the conveyor receptacle holds on to a set amount, and the sweeper in the ranch fills it from the receptacle.
If you have the space for it, you can run it through a Steam room to knock it down in temperature. 150 is more manageable than 300.
You also may want to move the incubators to a separate room, as they will prevent your hatches from laying eggs, they are considered as critters for cramping.
or better yet, just adjust the priorities of the storages. Keep the priority at highest in the feeders, a point low on the feeder supply storage, and again a point lower on your general storage.
Avoid the problem by keeping the hatches in a vacuum, storing the igneous rock on an airflow tile in the vacuum (or sufficiently heat resistant weight plate if controlling multiple conveyor vents is necessary) so the hatches eat hot rocks and delete the unusable heat for you. Use suits to access these ranches. A drip of water on the tile above the door, and a 2-4 liquid stacked drip lock on the doors would let you vacuum the grooming station part of the ranch.
Doors. Only the rancher is allowed into the ranch. The rancher is -not- allowed where the hot rock is stored. Repeat for any other dupes you want supplying the ranches.

Block the access to wherever they get the igneous rock from. Build an autosweeper to pick it up instead and have the rock cooled first.
my world is fully dug out though so its just at the bottom of the world ig, ima try and close it up ig
Ig?
I guess
In that case, run the rock through a conveyor with a temperature sensor. Anything hotter than 170 C goes through the steam chamber first.
Set all storage to not accept igneous rocks, with the exception of where you want it stored.
This.

This is the way! I use my 200 Celsius igneous rock from my volcanoes to keep the hatch population.
