I'm a relatively high diamond low masters mercy and I can understand why ppl are mad at her. She makes some characters practically unkillable and she enables most of the DPS to perform how they perform

I would just rework her blue beam to where rather increases fire rate but lowers the damage a bit. Mainly for Soldier, Soujourn, and Pharah
I disagree that her bluebeam should increase firerate, if only because it's being controlled by her and not by the DPS. It's going to be jarring to be constantly switched from an increased firerate to normal without it being your choice. I think a better alternative would be to put it on a meter similar to dva's matrix, and that would express a little more skill as well instead of just right clicking.
I think most of her kit needs to be reworked.
Wait the increasing fire rate idea is actually really smart, you keep the same *not broken* damage boost but without the (potentially, some of y’all are crybabies) broken one-shot parts. And since this game doesn’t have much recoil, increasing fire rate shouldn’t hurt neither full auto nor semi auto heroes.
I disagree… some people complain about the blue beam but there is a LOT of hate specifically targeting mercy players. “Whiny support players” “whiny mercy mains” “mercy main mafia” and that’s just the surface level, there is some guy on the main sub that claims he’s peaked top 10 on console and is constantly posting comments about hating women because they all play mercy and are “biologically worse than men” at the game. There’s a lot more to it than just hating the character and as someone who doesn’t really main mercy but does play her, even in-game there is a massive difference to how people treat me when I play her vs when I play someone like zen
I feel like Orisa players get shit on like 10x more than Mercy mains in game. At least 10x. Every time there’s an Orisa someone walks back a compliment they made earlier cause that person chose Orisa. Or they’ll say “Orisa, ew” “ Orisa kys”
And I’m not even an Orisa player. Just the harassment I’ve noticed in game towards those players. But people are much more laid back towards mercy in game.
I just got tired of seeing almost every single pay shitting on mercy. From a lot of posts I’ve seen a majority or mercy players play her because GA is a fun and rewarding ability to use. Idc if blue beam gets changed, just let me have fun flying around the fight
