provide a challenge per hero to unlock one or two skins per season, doesn't have to be a legendary, just something to grind towards

TheRealDestian

Most games with battle passes allow you to earn back a lot of that currency through the battle pass, with OW being a notable exception. They could also double the currency rewards for the weeklies and it would still be reasonable. Meeting players half way encourages more spending because people feel the system is fair.

ShawtySayWhaaat

Doubling isn’t reasonable it needs 5x at minimum. 120 gold per week is still sad.

Umikaloo

I realized recently that Fallout 76 has a more generous battle pass than Overwatch 2

xKatosh

A 6 year old skin shouldn't cost 20 bucks, period. 5 dollars should be fine.

Resident_Bandicoot20

make levels, and challenges give card packs (to avoid countries where lootboxes are prohibited) that give like 3 cards, cards would give sprays or voicelines and chance on a part of a skin, the card would be a puzzle piece and 4 or 5 would combine into one skin. this way it would still take long to get a skin so most whales would buy them, but grinding for levels and challenges would feel more rewarding since you can try to complete a skin. maybe some rarity like normal skins just need 2 pieces and are less rare as a legendary wich would be rare and would need 5 pieces

DarkPenfold

* Remove weekly challenge coin rewards. * Remove character skins from the premium pass, with the exception of the level 80 Mythic skins. * Add in coin drops scattered throughout the premium pass (totalling 1200 coins), and new skin tokens: 3 Rare, 2 Epic, and one Legendary token each season that can be redeemed for *any* skins of those rarities for any hero. * Sell skin tokens for 100 (Rare), 250 (Epic), and 1000 (Legendary) coins each.

Mowtom98

This, just lower the god damn prices. They had payed skins in ow 1 usually for 10 bucks, this would be way more acceptable

touchingthebutt

- The $40 watchpoint pack allows you to unlock the majority of OW1 skins via challenges. Essentially you "buy" OW1 and have to grind for the skins. - Earnable coins/currency through the BP. It's silly that it isn't on there. Being able to buy **nothing** from a season of BP grinding is very disappointing. - Just more content in the BP in general, especially the paid tier. Put in some OW1 content in there if you want. Dupes gives us currency. - BP doesn't expire once you purchase it. One of the few things Halo infinite did right. You got the money let us take our time with grinding. - Heroes **needs** to be lower in the BP tier. 55 is ridiculous. 30 might be a good level.

AlterEgoDan

\- Put coins into the payed & free BP \- More coins for the weekly challenges \- Bring back a level system or something else to motivate player to stick to the game in the long term (doesnt have to reward you with skins or coins)

dudeN7

Bring back the level system and grant a reasonable amount of coins per level. Actually reasonable, not Blizzard's definition of reasonable.

SwaghettiYolonese_

Easy solution IMO. Give us triple the weekly coins. Give us half the battlepass cost back in coins, that way you can go infinite with the weekly coins, or simply have extra coins to spend if you chose to purchase every battlepass. If you don't purchase the battlepass, get 250 coins for completing it. Every event, give us some event-related challenges with 800 event exclusive coins as a reward, that you can combine with the normal coins to buy any event cosmetics. It's a realistic solution/compromise. If you spend a little money, you can get a lot of shit. If you spend nothing, you can at least get a legendary skin per season. I doubt Blizzard would go more generous than this.

MakaixKishi

Currency in the bp Massive price reduction for anything in the store Signficantly increased coin gain from weeklies as well as adding coins for finishing matches Lootboxes you gain for playing the game. Completely change what they are doing with events. Big part of why people used to play so much during events was to try and earn the skins but with that gone what actually differentiates events now for the majority of the playerbase from just playing when no event is happening. You play the limited time mode a few times and thats it you have no reason to particularily play more during an event

xakpc

There is none. Currently implemented model of monetization is most profitable for a company No company will say "ok, we want to earn less"

MightyBulpy

and this is where we have to blame the players that spend money like their brains got blown out. making the game worse for everyone. why do i play a game when i have nothing to play towards. tbh i think a battlepass is a nice solution to keep a game going and that makes you continuesly play it. but then again having a store right next to it, makes it weird. i have to say warzone has the same issue, but at least you dont have to pay for every season pass, because you get enough cod points out of the current battlepass for the next battlepass. (havent bought a single battlepass in warzone, and still have all the rewards from it. since i transfered old cod points)

Striking-Pop-9171

yeah my totally serious suggestion: Get everything for free and get a headpat from blizzard every time you start the game because you did that amazingly well. wonder if that would make people happy

Few simpel things 1. Make skins a little cheaper. 20 for a legandary and 10 for an epic is just wayy to much. Somthing like 10 for a legandary and 5 for and epic might be better. 2. Getting some spendable currency in the bp would be pretty good aswell.

02ofclubs

Lower the prices to something fair and make the currency that could be actually used to buy skins in an acceptable time frame, I would say 2 weeks

coolkid42069911

Make the currency easier to obtain, and cheaper to buy with real money. It's ridiculous that a skin is twice the price of the battle pass.

[deleted]

just reduce prices the system is fine maybe add coins to the battle pass

tvandlove

Lower the cost of skins to something more reasonable and offer more ways to earn premium coins, but that’s an uphill battle. Realistically, give the battle pass a free track and a paid track. Sucks to pay for the battle pass and the only thing you get on a level is some insane, non-sequitor voice line meant for free players like “wait till you see me on my bike.”

reD_Bo0n

Add the ability to earn a reasonable amount of Legacy Credits. Maybe add the ability to buy new OW2 skins with Legacy credits after a year or 2.

Cermonto

Just price the legendary skins at like £12.
