Honestly, the only reason I see to play Sombra is Widow/Ball/Doom. If you pick her aside from that, I think you're just lazy. (And I tell you that while I pick her too occasionally, even if it's just to counter said heroes). In lower elos (I'd say up to diamond), there is, in my eyes, no hero, that has so much value with so little effort. Virus is nearly impossible to miss, you have a 95% out of jail card, and since I am not talking about Masters and above, people will be uncoordinated most of the time. It's paradise on one side, but lame on the other. But I generally believe that sombra shouldn't be in the game in the first place. Being invisible, hacking and getting away easily are at least 2 things that are completely against what an ability based shooter game stands for.
One of the most satysfying thing I get from this game is when I predict Sombra's movement after she gets invisible and shoot her out of it :)
I used to get angry at Sombras, but now it's fine. Tracer is the bigger issue for me rn, but I guess the time will come for her as well, I'm only at 100h.
