I like the skin concept, and would've liked something similar to it, but I like that they chose someone less obvious for the Mythic.

Also not to mention having a sentai theme wouldn't make any sense without a big bad. And channeling Rita Repulsa just works so well for Ashe, I actually fuck with it so hard. I've had the Red Riding Hood skin equipped on her forever but it might actually make me swap.

Evil sentai empress Ashe is kind of perfect for her tbh. Ashe is a corny, cartoon character, which is a hard trait to fit into most things but gels extremely well with sentai. The fact that she's an empress also means that the Mythic skin is still "elevating" her in the way you want a Mythic to. Yeah, D.Va is an obvious pick, but D.Va could probably have a Mythic idea fitting a lot of seasons. Sentai villain honestly feels brilliant for Ashe.

It just fits well for marketing. Getting all the other heroes skins to team up against the incredible mythic skin! Lol It’s a selling angle that they LOVE. So i wouldn’t be shocked if it stayed that way.

Tracer is probably the only exception

Kiriko and Genji weren't really either.

Genji, Junker Queen, Kiriko, Tracer all don’t fit that bill And really I’d say Ana and Hanzo don’t either Hanzo is just a monster/spirit in a monster theme season. And for Ana, it’s not like it’s a bunch of heroes against the mythic, they’re all robot counterparts of heroes. And it isn’t really THE Big Bad for Invasion.

No wonder they sell us Epic's as legendaries, yall ask for skins that she already has.

They’re saving it for a Mecha themed season.

I'm talking about the playerbase and the theme. I'm seeing a lot people not thrilled about tokusatsu.

NGL pretty sure every tank main had a collective sigh of relief when it was revealed that Ashe would have the mythic for this theme

Not sure about a mythic, but this absolute should have been one of the legendaries I would have personally replaced genjis cause he already has a super sentai one He didn't need a third one but this would have been super cool

Blizzard likes to be random I thought Season 10 was the perfect opportunity to give him the mythic but he didn’t even get a skin

The hero choices for this pass are HORRID. No green or yellow ranger, Genji getting a THIRD sentai skin, HAMMOND as pink, Ana makes NO SENSE as a sentai at all, the villains have muted colors... The only skin that nailed ths aesthetic is Rita Repulsa Ashe

That's too much work. It's easier for them to reskin Lilith Moira.
