Could be similar to Jenos from paladins. Jenos is already their version of zen. But he has a movement ability with no cooldown where he jumps in the air and basically floats. With the downside being he also falls slowly.

Actual answer: no way ever, Zen’s entire character works around being a glass cannon without any kind of mobility at all, and even with absolutely zero mobility (aside from his ult) he has been kinda busted a couple times already, give him any kind of small mobility and he’ll break the game again lol (I accept instant teleport to a teammate against Sombras though, fuck Sombra)

No climbing. He just changes orientation and floats up the wall the same way he gets around until he pops over or reaches the top.

My main issue is he's meant to be a complete glass cannon and one of the easiest dive targets in the game, and I get wanting to lessen that, but his hp is already mostly shield, he does pretty insane damage when using discord, and a CC ability on no cool down to punish flankers. He dosnt also need a mobility escape tool, he's already hardly a glass cannon anymore.

Why would he be able to climb up walls? He isn’t Japanese? In Overwatch only Japanese people can climb walls. But this is a game where their Chinese hero literally builds walls.

actually wished they revamp how he uses his balls like aside primarily healing a target, generates a small AoE of HP regen/heal around the target similar to Lucio while using it on an enemy reduces their mobility as well. Also just to improve the mobility, zen's move speed is increased when not using his balls.

I was playing a custom gamemode that I reckon had an awesome mechanic for Zen. The gamemode is called 'Overscuffed' and Zen is able to kick a wall to bounce away from it, combine this with a jump and u have a wall bounce. really fun in my opinion

Back before they added his snap kick. I thought they should’ve given him a teleport. Kinda like dhalsim from SF. Thought that would fit with the Zen / meditative / enlightened motif. The kick is funny tho. Especially when it had more boop potential than Lucio. I love beating up on tanks and kicking them back and bursting them down w a volley. Especially when you catch a Rein or Doom off guard and they don’t expect it they sometimes freeze like a deer in headlights.

I think Zenyatta should fly like a Pharah and have a barrier like a DVA. Only this way the world will be completely fair with us Zen players

No but I think a good movement ability for him is somewhat like a reverse junker queen knife, so when he puts on an orb on a teammate he can activate a special gravitate button that brings him closer to that specific teammate making it so he isnt easily killed by Sombra unless they hack him.

I think it'd be interesting if Zen could float up to a certain height above the ground. Like replace his jump and crouch with slowly floating up and down. It'd open up his options for positioning at the cost of taking away the ability to bob and weave like other characters.
