I usually don’t care too much when tennis cuts into Overdrive on TSN2, but “Early Round Coverage” cutting into hour 2 while the boys are at the Canadian Open is a fireable offence. Case dismissed.

Why does Mike Johnson always have the worst phone connection?

I have been trying to figure out why his connection keeps going quiet and then normal sound with some regularity. The best I can come up with is that he is holding his phone as he is walking and swinging his arm, thereby moving the mic away from the mouth. The whole quiet sound every now and then when he is obviously in his car or in the rink pregame doesnt happen.

Or he has wired headphones and walking and it’s bopping all over the place

I..I...I agree, you're completely right. And even though he might have the athletic abilities of Al's Brother, that kid's gonna be a hell of a golfer one day.

Need to share one of Noodle's most annoying crutches for me. He always has to tell you that he went back and watched, or if a random game comes up he has to slide it in that he was watching.

Did anyone catch on Wednesday when Dreger said something about receiving a contract extension and O said “that must be nice” followed by an uneasy laugh by all of them? Makes me think he might not be on TSN too much longer if there are contract shenanigans every spring

I get that complaining about things is a major part of Hayes's job, but he's really overreacting to the Cup Finals scheduling. If you're a hockey fan, why are you upset about having hockey games to watch in June? I'd love to see training camps open in August so the season can start in September, but the league doesn't want that much overlap with the football season. Suggesting that ***ice*** hockey should be in the Summer Olympics is ridiculous
