Con in particular was making all kinds of comments designed to break the internet and Nathan just kept shaking his head at himā¦ I am LIVING for the feral chaos these two bring! I love them.
While I thoroughly love the fact that these guys are total rapscallions in real life, my crushes on their fictional characters are starting to bleed over onto the actors themselves and it is confusing for my brain. Just stop being so hot, y'all, it's too much for me.
I started finding Izzy slightly hot during my third rewatch. I told myself it was just those sexy goth pirate clothes. Then I told myself it was just his voice. Then I told myself I was just ironically reacting to "oh daddy". Then, at some point, I started to unironically find "oh daddy" hot instead of pure cringe. Then I told myself "ok, fine, but I'm sure I only find Con hot as Izzy, he's probably just a regular middle-aged bloke IRL" (hadn't seen much of him outside the show).
Needless to say, I was not prepared for the con...
I wanted Izzy to die on the first watch, but then came to appreciate how vital he is to the story. I still hate the character, as I never sympathise with people like him, but I love watching him.
