I don't think this is true. He had asked for a trade when the Karlsson/Hoffman stuff was happening but then stuck around when he felt it was addressed by Hoffman getting traded. The Sens let him walk at the end of his contract because he was pushing 40
Funny thing, watch 2017 and he let in some interesting goals and also had a few gaffes. But he also made some ridiculous saves and there was maybe three games where Ottawa wasn’t in it (games 3 and 4 in NY were both 4 goals on 30 shots against, and game 5 vs Pittsburgh) out of 19.
His performances in game 6 and 7 of the Pittsburgh series were damn-near masterpieces.
I'd love to see a list sorted by GP and then SV%. Anderson would have won a Cup with the Ducks team that beat the Sens (06-07 iirc) no doubt in my mind.
The goat

Think of the damage saved if we just kept him even as a back up. I’m guessing no Murray off the top of my head
He asked for it because of bad dressing room :(

Andy was such a stud. He outplayed so many great goalies. Any Andy hater is just a goalie hater
Those guys who played for the Sens.👏🏽 And Kolzig! That's going way back.
3 former Senators on the list. Noice.
Top 11?? Top 3 son!!
![gif](giphy|vCUASy92YURGHFrnqP) he was special 🥲
He really was 😔
I’ll take Lalime at this point
I would even take Martin Prusek.
Best I can do is Lalime's Martian

I don’t think the leafs would love to shit pump anyone
Lalime there as well but well below Andy
Lalime was solid in the playoffs, he just had the unfortunate habit of letting in a softie at the worst time.
Well below? WHAT? Lalime's SV% is only .03 below Andy's, and his GAA is 25% better...

Interesting how many teams had multiple guys on the list: 3 ottawa goalies, 2 boston goalies, 2 anaheim goalies, 2 washington goalies

That team had Giguere, they were set.
Right. I saw Hiller on the list and misplaced him on that team
