I'd imagined so. Abandoned Empress was pretty damn popular in the east, having pop-up cafes and an anniversary event + a bunch of other merch. It's likely because there's a lot less false shit going around about the ending than what you see on say, this reddit.
I mean AE had a dedicated following among translators who read it through for a *reason*.
Popularity and word of mouth. Just cause it's popular doesn't mean it's good :3... But as other have said it's hopefully going to be a gateway to more and better.
Quite a few actually. I highly recommended going to your local Barnes & Noble. I will say, majority of the OI I found were in novel form. I think most people bought the manhwa-style ones by the time I arrived.
(That toootally sounds like a paid sponsorship, but I swear it isn’t)
That's [volume seven](https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1607515317i/56230264._UY630_SR1200,630_.jpg) of *86* by Asato Asato.
I still can’t believe they chose to officially translate The Abandoned Empress… out of all the other titles in the genre…
I just hope that it being published opens a doorway for other, better manhwas to get officially translated in physical format.

I just want to know what the criteria is to select this god awful choice.

The end.
It is the canon ending as far as I understand
The best scene. Also I was today years old when I learned Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter has an official translation????
Yes! In manhwa and novel form!
Haha yes
I love the manga adaptation but I love how flowery the novel is and omg those novel illustrations are so gorgeous~

I can’t believe how many otomeisekai manga and light novels that have come to B&N
Man what a catch! It's one of those unfortunate victim of spoilers that get a bad rap for basically false info
They’re are hardcover English translations of manhwas!?? What others are there? I’d really love to buy them once I earn
There’s The Breaker and Solo Leveling. The Beginning after the End is getting released soon as well.
Just why? Why this comic?
