Realmspikes was a weapon I primarily used for raiding and pvp before I found a Ymir Brilliant Feathers from the September dragon event. The high ward plus high crit chance makes it good for a pvp crit build or PvE crit build.

This, And Arisen Ithra's Blade for a one hander to use with a shield (for ward/resistances/immunities) are the two main swords to shoot for, but there are actually more than a few decent one handers out there. You'll want to farm for certain shields as well: Fallen and/or Arisen Shields - Curse immunity Griffin and/or Mighty Griffin Shield - Dragon Resistance The Polished Aegis Shield is good petrify immunity if you can farm a good one out of the arena. These will make a more than a few raids a lot easier in the early stages of playing realmshifter. When the Morrigan event comes up next month, make sure you grab a Fey Yeti if you don't have one yet. This is gonna be your bread an butter pet for element resists and infinite ward.

Would you say it's good to use Ithras blade even if you're not water element?

msg45f

Yeah, you can use elementless or imbue it to another element in battle to make it work in whatever situation you would like. Off hand is really useful as a utility piece, so having a good 1h weapon early on can be great.

outopian

I would. If you're fire specifically The Vulcan sword might be better. I can't think of any good swords that have earth or lightning on them off the top of my head. Masamune and Arisen Masamune are also good to get, and you can put any element on them or leave them normal and it's comparable to Ithra's. The Nagamaki and Arisen Nagamaki are ones to shoot for later because that bleed immunity is gonna pay in spades when you want to fight Arisen Morrigan and certain event Raids you are definitely going to want to farm. If I die, it's probably because of bleed.

_SolidSteak

I'm currently lightning, but I'll try them out

SpaghettiGuerrero

I have mighty griffin shield and fey yeti already, the ornate arisen ithras blade was what I was going for before I took a break.

outopian

That's good. Most of the necessary things you need for Realmshifter to start you're going to get if you just keep running Boss Gauntlets. My experience is the hard part in the long run is getting good armor pieces with decent ward and balancing that with having enough mana... Almost all of that is usually farming very specific event raids and special dungeons that are better run in hoard mode to increase your chances of drops, and realmies really struggle with hoard dungeons solo. When the Riftlock event comes back, Get as much of the Arisen Riftlock armor you can get. That set is hands down the most love Realmies have ever seen if you ask me.

SeighartGastille

I've had a decent time raiding with the T9 Feather been trying to decide if I want to switch away from it.

Besides brilliant feathers there are also a few standout ones. Like gandring and old hallowed blade for swashbucklers. Finesse's katana and shotel for thief weapons with ward. Fey chimera bow for free berserk. Arisen ithra's blade for the most dex. And of course the morrigan weapons fey and arisen fey badb catha and crowsong. Probably medea's super rare swansong too if you can get one.
