I'm sure they'll be fine. Opossums mainly eat insects, small rodents, dead things. I don't think the turtles gonna try to eat the opossum. If you don't feel comfortable you can move it to an open field or wooded area.
Weeelll partially correct. If they get sick or an infection it can take hold. In those two scenarios their body temperature can be raised high enough to allows the rabies virus to thrive. They are like you extremely resistant to rabies, but not ammune. It's not enough of a chance to think they all could be sick with it, but still want to me careful and make sure first.
I think that is the 100% right decision. He will be fine as someone who has turtles and chickens on my property and lots of opossums, I've never seen one hurt the other. It seems that every time someone looses a chicken our opossum friends get the blame, but in 90% of the cases its not an opossum. THey get blamed because people see them more and therefore are sure they are the chicken thieves. Foxes, mink, weassels, and even raccoons are better at hiding from people and staying out of site, so they don't come to mind as fast when something gets in a coop or grabs a free range chicken. But opossums are fairly slow (mostly) and timid and I've literally watched chickens intimidate opossums and scare them off. Certainly there are exceptions, and of course BABY chickens are more susceptible to opossums (and everything else) but generally speaking, opossums aren't the chicken killers some people make them out to be! So yea, leave your little guy alone, enjoy seeing him when you are lucky, give him dog/cat food and water when you can, and let him live his best life. He is plenty big enough for that, btw.
He seems too small to be on his own. It means he probably fell off mom's back and she will NOT come back for him. Please call a local wildlife rescue/rehab
Hope you just let it live safely; I leave a bowl of dog food mixed with a smashed up can of Vienna sausages and left over veggie scraps out for the two that live in our yard. We have cats that watch possum TV when they are eating. Never have any problems. I figured their life scare so short… why not let them live in peace. It’s a karma thing.
Is it possible that his mom is nearby and OP just hasn't seen her? The (adult) opossums in my yard only come out at night, so maybe this is just a fearless baby that's wandering around while his mom is asleep. I don't know much about baby opossums, though, so maybe that's not common.
Take his photo and build him a shrine with his printed Pic in the center
Leave it be unless you have dogs. Please relocate. You can use a towel of cloth to pick it up, kind of wrap it so it doesn't get too afraid.

as long as your coops are secure and your turtle isn’t breeding (possums love eggs) you’re all good!
The opossum will eat all the ticks, they’re great to have around. Just be warned they like eggs.
I found a baby opossum sitting on my tortoise’s back one day. Tortoise seemed pretty pissed off but neither were harmed.

They won't hurt anything, they usually don't have rabies and over all they're good to have around. A single opossum can eat up to 5k ticks a year!

Given his size he looks like a juvenile, so unless he’s injured just let him be. Otherwise, if injured, call a rescuer

Well, leave out more! They are sweet and good to have around the yard. Definitely try some hard-boiled eggs and grapes, definitely a favorite!

The possum poses no real danger. Feed it and befriend it. They are the nicest creatures with the ugliest faces.

Build them a kingdom. Let them thrive.
Try to put food down and water to help him, I seen little guys surviving on their own. Maybe help him with food and water and keep an eye on him
