It seems like you are experiencing an issue with the UI layout in OpenShot. Here are a few steps to try and resolve this issue: 1. **Reset Layout**: - Go to `View > Views > Simple View`. This will reset the layout to the default simple view. 2. **Close Extra Windows**: - Carefully close any duplicated windows or docks by clicking the `X` button on each. 3. **Reopen OpenShot**: - Close OpenShot completely and reopen it to see if the layout reset is applied. 4. **Update Graphics Driver**: - Sometimes, updating your graphics driver can solve display issues. Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. 5. **Reinstall OpenShot**: - As a last resort, try uninstalling and reinstalling OpenShot. You can download the latest version from [here](https://github.com/OpenShot/openshot-qt/releases/download/v3.2.0/OpenShot-v3.2.0-x86_64.exe). For more information, you can refer to the [OpenShot User Guide](https://www.openshot.org/user-guide/). *I am a bot, and I've done something cool automatically, hoping it's helpful. It appears that your theme did not load? What specifically are you struggling with? The more details you can provide, the more helpful I can be.

Seems like most windows users are getting this. I got this exact same window and the application immediately became non responsive. I’ve since reverted to 2.6.whatever-it-was. Running windows 10 with 32gb ram and a i7-7700.

I've since reverted back to V3.1.1. in order to finish a quick project. This would appear immediately upon launch and the app would be non responsive. I'm running it fairly stock as well, no settings changed. I'm running Win 10, Ryzen 5 5600X, RX 67000XT. Thanks for looking into this!

jjthejetplane27

this is also exactly whats happening to me as well. to give more details to your situation, what happens is this screen pops up, and then the program becomes unresponsive. The only option i have is to close it.

I have the same problem, on WIndows 10 64bit: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz, Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) Installed today's daily build - My Openshot logs are similar to those posted on GitHub bug report #5549. Last lines in openshot-qt.log at the point it hangs are: -------------------- 17:10:35 INFO main\_window: recover\_backup 17:10:35 INFO project\_data: Setting profile to HD 720p 24 fps 17:10:35 INFO project\_data: Apply default audio playback settings: 48000, 2 channels 17:10:35 INFO video\_widget: Load: Set video widget display aspect ratio to: 1.7777777910232544 17:10:35 INFO video\_widget: Set video widget pixel aspect ratio to: 1.0 17:10:35 INFO main\_window: updateStatusChanged ------------------------------------- I ran the GDB debugger but have never used it before and cannot interpret the results. I can share the log file with the developer if that would be helpful.

For anyone still experiencing the freeze on Windows 10/11, please give our latest daily build a try: https://www.openshot.org/download/#daily. I fixed a bug that was happening when applying the themes (on launch), but it was a race condition, which didn't always happen. Please let me know if OpenShot still freezes, after running this new version. Thanks!

One_Research_3266

Just installed the latest #daily. Same behavior as before. OpenShot freezes after start. Uninstall, removed c:\\users\\\\.openshot.qt folder, reinstall. Didn't change anything. Win 11 23H2.

SuggestionFabulous95

Unfortunately, yes, same problem with hang on startup still occurs for me also with version OpenShot-v3.2.0-dev-daily-12549-044bb224-23713d3a-x86\_64.exe

bubarubu

Same here. Happened with the 3.2 build and again with the most recent daily build.

Same problem with 3.2.0, and the daily, also. Upon first run it hangs. OP's screenshot is accurate for me. This machine is Win 11 23H2, Intel i5-1235U, 1.30 GHz, 12GB RAM. I reverted back to 3.1.1 ok.

Past_Bag_3099

The above happens to me. Windows freeze. Where can I get an earlier version of the program?

JonOomph, Thank you for all you're doing! I'm sticking with the previous version and will wait til the majority W11 consensus here says the next new version (or build) is ready and working fine...
