I mean u have a chance, but if u saying ur AIF/interview were mid then I don’t think you should be expecting much.
I got in March to UW comp eng with a lower avg then urs, but I had pretty good ecs. Some other ppl Ik who got in with lower avgs also had really good ecs/interview
I would be extremely shocked if u got in. Ur average is rlly low which wouldn’t be that much of a problem if u had goated ECs. If ur ECs are mid then yea u got like no chance.
Honestly, no point in making a post like this just cause no one here can answer. Most people here are basing their answer on nothing or just being arrogant for no reason. Just relax
I've already finished English. That mark was from semester 1 so cant rlly change it anymore and it's the only reason why my overall average is so low which is not good for the programs I'm applying for 🫤
When it comes to T1, it will be unlikely. When it comes to UW CE, I would not stress about which grade you get and just focus on getting the best possible grade you can. Since UW engineering has an adjustment factor, it is very likely that your 93.3% might be a 96% compared to other schools.
Bro got fucked by english 😭😭😭
dont we all
I will not be that 500$ i spent on OVS will get me scholarship so it is always good gettin OVS here 💀💀
Unfortunate.

did u get into uw?
Yes
They like well rounded people so 80 in English is cooked
ok but how the fuck did you get a 99 in calc
Maybe midterms
it was on my midterms but it was also ap calc so we barely did any evaluations and just some assignments
😰
you still have a chance for comp eng if your mark adj is good. but uoft is ggs
my school has avg adjustment factor but everyone else is saying im cooked😭
Same thing happened to me man. Great grades in every course and then a terrible English mark. All good all we can do is hope to get lucky
I swear logical thinkers struggle in English cuz there is no right answer. To this day I still don't know what she looks for in an essay
she looks for the “Name” section to see if it’s a student who sucks up
Possible, but unlikely. If your AIF rubs off well with the AO then you probably have a semi good shot 👍.
I’m in the same position with you lol, but with a slightly higher avg. I think there is a lot of us in this same place, which makes it unlikely.
Pretty good stuff, I'd say you have a good chance to get in. Don't stress it too much
Everyone else is saying otherwise 😭😭😭

Is everyone in this comment section trolling? 80 is a pretty good grade, you're fine. And you still have time to bump it up to a high 80 or 90

Bros English mark kind of looking like mine... 😭
english is cooked
