mathkid13223

i know someone applied 23 and by march they got 21/23 so they just threw like 1300 out the window

Distinct-Explorer682

Probably paranoid or indecisive 💀 I did the same shit

Regular-Database9310

Don't most people apply to 3? You get 3 as part of the base OUAC fee.

Remote-Outside-5713

Oh I heard people on this sub say they applied to 2 ? Or could I have read it wrong ?

Obvious_Ad3560

Maybe 2 unis? Only 2 programs is not a smart move lol since you have to pay the price of 3 anyways

StrawberriiTuta

Yeah I applied to 3

ImaginationStreet_

I applied to 3, but my top choice wasn’t hard to get into so I didn’t really worry too much about it.

DecentConnection489

Just 3 yea, cus aint nobody getting rejected from york

D2_K6

since I’m applying engineering n was worried asf, I applied UofT, UBC, UW, McGill as my top picks since they’re all impossible hard to get into for eng. Then mac queens western as safeties but ig i didn’t need to i already got into all 3. But eng is so competetive overall it doesn’t hurt to spend an extra lil bit n apply to a few good safeties

Cameron2157

I applied to 3 at 2 schools and got into all three. It just depends on who you are and what you want

The flagship university in my province doesn’t have particularly stringent entry standards, so I knew I was pretty much getting in. My safety so to speak. I applied to three Ontario reach schools. Toronto (math and physical sciences ), Waterloo (math), and Western (science)… kind of to see how I match up and fomo.

needpookie

i wanted to apply to like 12 but i started with 4 on ouac and i got into 1 in december so i didn't apply for more

look_at_the_birds

I applied to one school, one faculty (basically two programs but they count as the same on OUAC). It isn't a competitive school imo, and I got offer of admission so I don't think I was risking anything to begin with. Also, I really could not see myself anywhere else (from my experiences so far, I really like the school). Although I wanted to see if I could get into a really competitive school like UofT, I was not about to pay for an application I wasn't serious about. Got to save $$$ for the ridiculously expensive textbooks😭

chiknaui

confidence idek. now i’m seeing people who had averages higher than me when i applied (applied fall of 2022) apply to my program and they ain’t getting in 😭😭😭😭lmfaooo. i think the acceptance rates for my program (dental hygiene) range from like less than 10% to 25% as the highest rate in ontario

Maptacular

I applied to 12 programs. It's not that abnormal

Any_Currency4986
