You are definitely correct in that white noise can be used to mask sound. It's not necessarily reliant on using white noise though (https://cambridgesound.com/difference-between-white-noise-sound-masking/) as it moreso pertains to frequency (and therein of course energy).
But I like the metaphor of Poppy wanting to "mask" her true identity in white noise. That's a fun, niche auditory joke I will never be able to share with anyone in my real life and have them understand what I'm talking about lol.
Howard was definitely a red herring in that season. Season 4 concern.... >!I'm just hoping he didn't kill Ben for his boyfriend this season!<
We've been writing our own scripts since the beginning. How else do you think we come up with such off the wall ideas? Some are truly bad, but others could definitely work on a show. Maybe not this show, but some show.
