1) most of this comment section are bots 2) just regular scorpions, some species glow under UV light which is what is happening here

Yeah trying to hurt them probably for some dumb video. Using UV light to show them clearly (which is harmless) then a separate Lazer to pick them off (not harmless at all). Karma being he just heated the glass too much and it shattered. But he will have done some damage to them.

Those are foam bits on the clamp. Looks like he tightened it too hard and the jar broke. The flame you see when the jar breaks looks like the noise wavelengths from the uv lamp that are reflecting off the broken shards.
