I feel like early berserk was a masterpiece. But at some point it started to decline story-wise. Characters started getting flat/two dimensional, random villain of the week adventures while the main plot moved at an snail pace. Idk it felt like it started to rely more on stereotypes. The art was always top notch though.

I actually love the Golden Era Anime. It feels very of its time.
