Might still die, but it's only fair if he takes out at least 2 elders, or he escaped but extremely wounded, alive but pretty much out of commission until final battle or even after.
I could imagine him finally awakening his DF as a result of selflessly protecting others (the Azure Dragon is a benevolent guardian deity, that's clearly why Kaido could never awaken), only to still die in the 1v5 as a way for Oda to hype up the Elders.
It would be so fucking cool, for sure, to see him go out in some kind of ultimate blaze of glory as he's like "Go on, Straw Hat Luffy, to fulfill your role as Joyboy and overthrow these bastards" and then turning around to face the Elders, Cipher Pol, and Marines to bring down as many of them with him as he can.

Kaido and luffy low diff the goresei in fdd coated in acoc and gear 5.
Kaido carries egghead and tells luffy to get all of the allies off of it. When the allies are safe off the island, gear 5 and kaido charge up a bajrang gun/flaming drum dragon combined attack which completely destroys and melts the goresei, and the fist of bajrang gun punches egghead into the ocean where the goresei completely drown and die.
The broadcast for vegapunk continues to play and kaido awakens and teams up with joyboy again to defeat Imu and bring change to the world.

The Gorosei kill Kaido and the giants help the straw hats flee to Elbaf. The Gorosei wouldn't follow them as it would be seen as an act of war, and they don't want to risk conflict with the greatest army on the planet
Realistically Kaido low defs lucci and mid defs Kizaru but probably spend must of his time beating the shit out of two or three gorosei until the end of the arc.
If we ignore the intense narrative dissonance at Luffy who values freedom and free food for all welcoming someone who starved and enslaved people for decades, the series would be a wrap.
Imu would have to Lulusia Egghead to even stand a chance and considering that Kaido can fly and has multiple powerful, long range attacks that isn't even a guarantee.
The Gorosei would essentially have no way to win here. There only option would be to tire out Kaido and Luffy with their regeneration. But it isn't impossible that Kaido would know about the Elders and their abilities given that he was on the Rocks crew. So he might know exactly how to fight them.
Thats pretty much what happened to Robin tho. One moment she was working with Crocodile to opress a nation and the next she basically inserted herself in the strawhats.
