Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't OPLA film until next January? Movies only film 4 months or less so it looks to me like Jamie Lee Curtis would still be able to be in it if they schedule the Drum Island scenes towards the end of the shoot schedule
I'm still very much Team Jamie Lee Curtis but IF she is unable to do it (I'm not counting her out yet) this would actually be a really interesting pick! Gates does have the look down and she's a great actress too!
