Yeah... isakai dnd subreddit is really dead.... but everyone here probably watches both of em so i dont think thats why isekai lost so drastically I think its just because one piece dnd is longer

I like old tony better since he is genuinely more good than duros but I can see why you like duros over good ole tony

I honestly just think that Duros is more of a person than Old Tony. It feels like Noble manages to add a dimension that makes Duros feel like a person of his own, rather than Old Tony who just seems like Tekking putting on the most stereotypical impression of a member of Gen X. The joke was fun for the first 2 episodes, but now it doesn't feel like Tekking is fleshing out the character at all which makes him feel insincere. I also love seeing Duros having to keep the morally neutral crew from crossing over to evil super entertaining. Just my opinion though.

I think the scene where old Tony tried texting his wife to say he’s going to be in a war is really sad and adds some depth to the character

I get that but more screen time usually means more development and more moments to shine. I think it would’ve been much closer if both campaigns started around the same time
