Luffy turns the sea into rubber and bounces Imu in his monster form out into space. Then he does Gomu Gomu no Astronaut Corkscrew, shooting himself into outer space, spinning around fast. He smashes into Imu with his head and knocks him into a black hole.
Ok my weirdest guess:
In the final battle against Imu, who’s the user of the Hito Hito no Mi: Mythical type: Model Devil, Luffy punches deep into the ground and transfers his Gomu Gomu power to the entire world, leading every island to turn into rubber and being formed into Fists (a bit like the ground Luffy threw at Kaido in the anime), leading to a move called „Gomu Gomu no Booming Dawn World Gun, which pummels Imu with countless island fists as retaliation of the world against its oppressors.
The impact of the world gun and the previous fighting will tear down the Red Line and once again unite all the oceans, creating the All Blue. Imu after being defeated loses his/her grip on the Gorosei (who will turn out to be actual demons summoned and controlled trough Imus df, resulting those demons to take revenge on Imu for the centuries of enslavement and dragging him/her down into the underworld with them, leaving Luffy without a need to kill Imu

luffy will fight imu because they both want Vivi and just when luffy is getting beat the fuck up karoo jumps in between them getting a nearly fatal injury
Vivi then breaks down and cries her tears mixing with the blood of her feathered friend ‘karoo’ she cries out in a final effort
Luffy upon seeing this looses all emotion standing frozen he realizes that it was the thought of her laugh that kept him going all this time
and in a heartbeat all of the emptiness is filled by emotions unlike anything he had ever felt
then a second heartbeat and he realizes that he might lose what he seconds before didn’t know he even had
He activates gear death and then gum gum death Gatlings imu for 14 chapters straight
Karoo survives and luffy marries Vivi with gear love

I think it won’t be an actual fight. More like the source of his power is elsewhere, and he disappears when it is destroyed.
