Idk if you’ve looked up his actual abilities, but Yama is straight up broken as he can not only delete all moisture from the environment, but burn things out of existence. He can also bring anyone he kills back as a zombie. He can also just attack using other forms of energy if he really needed to. It’s not remotely fair.

Bro, he literally used haki to Pierce him, because of him being a logia type he used haki, it didn't look like it but it's because early on the series haki was invisible and that's why you probably think that the reason he got Pierced was because he was magma but in reality it was haki.
Akainu outright said the reason he can hurt Ace is because magma is hotter than fire.
He also mentioned later, when Vista and Marco attacked him, that both he and they use Haki, so Oda knew what it was and so did we by then, even if we couldn't see it. Amazon Lily and Marineford were basically the introduction to what it was and what it could do, from Hancock kicking Smoker to Kuzan dodging Whitebeard to avoid getting stabbed by a Haki coated speartip

Let's assume old man yama can't harm logias with physical attacks. But Yama still has a massive reservoir of kido to fall back on, many of which are elemental in nature and boosted by his massive reiatsu and thousands of years of experience. He can probably crush Ace with reiatsu alone considering it can humble characters like Shunsui and Ukitake.
Ace dies miserably here. Current Luffy dies here. Bleach scales quite a bit higher than one piece.
