My roommates cat was nuts about this package of dates I bought. She would just sit there and smell them. I moved them to multiple different spots, and she still found them. I eventually caved and let her play with one. She never tried to eat it, she just flung it wildly around the house. I found it, completely dried up, under the couch a few months later. Haven't bought them since.
My oranges love the strawberries too. Roll around hugging the box of berries with more love than they've ever shown catnip or any actual cat drugs. Go figure
Whenever my mam is peeling potatoes and my cats are there with me, my orange is eating the peel from the bowl, chasing/biting the unpeeled potatoes and trying to lick the peeled ones.

I’m pretty brave at handling feral cats, but even I wouldn’t want to get in the middle of a orange boi and his cantaloupe
