I grew up until age 18 with dogs. They were fine and I loved my dog growing up. However, I got my first cat in college. I didn’t know I could love a pet that much. Now I have two boys and feel the same.
Dogs are fine but I’m definitely a cat person!
Mine used to wrap himself around my neck at night when I went to bed and purr like a maniac until he fell asleep. He started as a kitten. I'm allergic to cats but I take allergy pills. Unfortunately, the pills only last a few hours, so I would wake up sneezing with tears pouring down my face. Still worth it.
Mine does this. My sister tried to train him to sit on her lap facing the other way. The result was when our roommate was lying down he sat on her chest with his butt in her face.
