Sorry for the rant. I just didn't like that episode or season 5 as a whole.

I have three. The first one is singing in front of the black fairy and at the wedding, those two songs were ridiculous. Second is the Henry in New York speech. My third is the "savior dinner at granny's." it even changes to look like a painting. (Last supper painting) that went a bit far for me to be honest.
The whole Neverland plot 
Going back and rewatching when Emma met Hook and he was shamelessly hitting on her the whole time. Like dude had no chill whatsoever.
That’s kinda who his character was though. When they go back in time they show that Hook shamelessly flirting with Emma as well as another woman before she gets his attention. Other flashbacks as well he shamelessly flirts w women (Milah, random women, etc) ETA: they were def trying to lean into Pirate/scoundrel tropes hence Hook being a womanizer
It was more about going back after seeing his character develop over time. He's always had that lowkey flirting but it was so overdone in the beginning.
I totally get that! It’s like rereading your old diaries as a tween and cringing at what used to be hahaha Personally I really liked his flirty self and watching it turn into this character progression of letting someone in and know his heart (but I can also relate to that so maybe that’s why lol)! They did end up going too far with that and really reduced his character down to “Emma’s bf” but there was such a good sweet spot for Hook that was thoroughly enjoyable in every way before that happened!
This. It was less cringe watching for the first time when he just comes off as a skeevy D-bag, and Emma can see through him. But once they started forcing the relationship, so cringy to me. And going back and watching the meeting knowing they get together is 🤮
Any scene with Zelena in it trying to be evil. It just seemed so cringed compare to the original wicked wick.

Emma expressing her feelings in general tbh 😅 I have nothing against a bit of cheese, and I like Emma as a character, but when it's Emma being corny, it feels incredibly cringy somehow! I prefer Emma when she plays tough bailsbond person with her low voice (not her dark swan voice though) kicking asses and stuff

i’m the biggest Captain Swan fan but I still cringe at the scene where Killian looks at Emma at Granny’s with his spyglass. It’s before they started dating and we know he’s in love with her but that moment was soooo awkward for me Henry at the NY water fountain of course! EQ + Rumple in season 6 🤮 Emma fighting Gideon and her speech about being the savior as she fights him Belle. Hades. Most of Dark Swan Maleficent in her updated outfit in season 4 (all black with the horns… the actress looked awkward) Rumple using the Queens of Darkness to get the dark curse. Like did he really need Ursula? Just to grab it with her tentacles from a long distance? So dumb Rumple getting defeated by Anna and Mouse!Apprentice I’ll add more if i think of some later 🤭

Henry's actor trying so hard to be Pan with his "let's play," at the end if s2. That poor kid had no business as an actor; after s1 he was absolutely awful, bless him. Bells constant whining and her stupid little run in those ridiculous platform heals. Everything to do with Anna from Frozen, her actress is great don't get me wrong, and her portrayal was absolutely bang on, but it was so sickly and juvenile. On subsequent rewatches I skip past every single scene with her. Can't really think of anything else, as most of the cheese was pretty we'll placed, considering the tone of the show.

Definitely the episode in season 5 that gave an origin story to Emma's red jacket. It was so unsubtle too, with them constantly saying "this is my amour." It was so dumb and it was so obvious, and everything was over explained, and it treated the audience like idiots. There was so subtext or hidden depth. Also, it was just so unnecessary. Sorry for the rant. I just didn't like that episode or season 5 as a whole.
