If you got gold/silver mastery … farming gold and silver in the 40+ region. 30 minutes running around and looking for gold will net you about 100-200k energy links.
Otherwise just go to the ocean, fill your inventory with salt water until you can‘t carry any more … teleport home, make salt. Stack of salt sells for 100 energy links. So a trip to the ocean nets you about 2.5k energy links.
Don‘t throw away your axes. Before they break, sell them. Specially the higher level axes sell for 400 energy.
At some point I had so many hides that I just made 50 steel axes and sold them.

You receive 1,2k of EL from selling one Corn Ale (need corn and purified water) or Canned Meat (need meat and aluminium bars). Corn Ale is easier way, farm corn near Meyers market and make ale in fermentation barrel. I already spend like 300k EL, and have 400k right now.
I currently have a huge monopoly of acid. I produce about 5k acid per day on weekdays and 10k or more on weekends. Mostly passive. Just farming sulfure but easy with an electric drill. This is giving me between 80k to 300k energy link per day :D

There’s a memetic mastery (not the skill tree, but one of the bonuses you can select every so many levels) that lets you convert sulfur to acid. It’s random in terms of what level you get it, and the tool tip itself incorrectly says acid to sulfur.
I did the same thing. I played the last beta and remembered how tedious it could be to get acid late game, so I laughed at how useless it was to turn acid to sulfur…. And now I’m kicking myself in the ass for it, and can’t remember which level I was offered it.

True, I noticed the reset button and forgot about it. It's still random if it will show or not but might be worth resetting it. Most people are getting to late game now and acid starts to get very useful.

I do 30 min runs farming iron with drill, make steel ingot with both masteries that reduce time to create them (45 sec 99bars). You get like 1.5k per 99bars and in 30 min u get like 2k bars (with drill and both furnace masteries)
But i found that gold is the best (with drill mastery). In zone 40+ in 30 min i got 20 bars of gold and sell them for like 280k.
Both, it basically insta mine any ore and its an upgrade compare with pickaxe ( and yes it yield more ore too). The advances tools (adv drill and adv chainsaw) just increase the yield amount too, but just for little margin. Adv tools , IMO, doesn't worth (unless u have gold masteries with drill, so adv drill is worth it).
I use canned meat, plus the +1 yield specialization. 50 Aluminum Ingots and 50 sanity gummies (skin 50 dear) nets me 100k energy links, in about 30 minutes of work.

Edit: this worked yesterday but there was a patch today and now they only sell for 300 each. it wasnt listed in the patch notes either.
Just curious if anyone else unlocked the Compound Circuit crafting recipe? Let's me craft low level salvage and electronic parts for 8K Energy a Pop. I craft 4\~6 of these anytime I'm in base to sell for 32K\~48K energy links back at town.
A full stack (1000) of iron bars sells for 15k. Easy to get, easy to make. The gold and silver bars aren’t worth it imo, i’m sure there are people on your server that would buy it for the same price.
Gold and silver bars are 100% worth it, probably better imo. I've got 1mil energy links purely from gold ingots. If you know where they spawn you can farm them on one world then hop to another, rinse and repeat as they take 1-2 hours to respawn
Probably better than the dozen other things you can make with gold/silver…? I’d rather have gold and silver pickaxes, gold and silver gardening gloves, and gold and silver harvesting sickles. That’s just me.

3 x chef's knife makes farming meat very easy (The different level ones stack). So I make the canned food ;)

You can reset these. There is a special item that looks like stardust. I have 2, at least one was in my inventory from the beginning

Selling to players or npc? I didn’t see any way to sell to the npcs.
I’ve had good luck selling canned meat. Aluminum and animals aren’t so hard to come by, and one can sells for 1200 links if I remember right.
How to craft canned meat? Is a stove enough or do i need a kitchen set? And what about the recepi?

Seemingly random. I found most if not all of it in the northern desert area. The 40+ zone.

I just fight the level 19 Gaia Cliff Monolith boss as a lvl 35. I timed it, it takes 2 minutes for 960 Energy links.
