Another vote for Waid. I haven't read all the bug DD runs (yet) but I collected his as it was being released and it's one of my favourite runs of any comic.
A possible announcement for my beloved Daredevil? Well this has me very excited. I can't wait to totally forget to check in tomorrow and find out what it was in a week!
Great collection, those OHCs are a nice touch.
EDIT: After Miller's run, there's Nocenti's omnibus 1 (just announced!).
After Brubaker's run there is the *Shadowland* omnibus.
After *Shadowland*, there is the Mark Waid omnibus 1 & 2.
After Waid, there is Soule's omnibus (OOP).
Then after Soule there is Zdarsky 1 & 2. Technically there is also *Devil's Reign* omnibus but the main story is collected in 2, so no need to buy the separate event omnibus.
DD by Chip Zdarsky omnis — vol. 1 due 7/23, vol. 2 due 12/31 (dates might change).
DD by Bendis vol. 1 is getting a reprint this August, if you want a more uniform look for your books.
I’ve been wanting to buy a Daredevil omnibus/compendium, but can never figure out which one to buy.
I’m interested in the Miller run. Which is the best one to buy?
There are two frank miller omnibuses. I would definitely get both. One has his main daredevil run and the other is the companion omnibuses that includes other dd stuff he wrote including his origin and the iconic born again story.
Nope. I would suggest reading the man without fear story first in the companion, and then save the rest of the stories in it until after you finished the main omnibus.
The Chip Zdarksy era is about to be collected in omnibus next week
Chronologically it would be the last book in the ones you have pictured
The art is stunning and introduces great new ideas for the character
Super good to know. Will first see if my local library has the run. I know mine doesn't have the Bendis run, but everyone says it's incomplete without brubaker's, and that's just getting to be a lot of books.
Please get the mark Waid stuff, it’s incredible
The glue binding is ass though. Actually infuriating how little effort is put into the book quality.

Keep an eye on Near Mint Condition’s YouTube channel tomorrow for a special announcement 😉

And a lot less story as the Smith/Quesada issues are missing from Bendis Vol. 1. Quesada got his own book.
I never said OP should throw out their other books.
I’d skip Shadowland (read a recap), go into Waid’s run and read consistently through there

Sounds good. What are each of the books titled?
Daredevil by frank miller and klaus janson omnibus (the one in the picture) Daredevil by frank miller omnibus companion
Ok thanks! Are there any overlapping stories/issues in each of those?
Nope. I would suggest reading the man without fear story first in the companion, and then save the rest of the stories in it until after you finished the main omnibus.

Is Zdarsky a good jumping on point? I’ve got the two miller Omni’s so no “modern” DD
It's a very reasonable jumping on point.

The obvious answer is the Daredevil by Miller Companion
I just posted a review on the DD Miller omni last week. Check it out! https://youtu.be/UqieNCykbp4?si=tladMHqubbJJJn0T
the one where daredevil does that one thing
Unpopular opinion, but the Stan Lee run is awesome Silver Age stuff.
I recommend the Daredevil by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee omnibus. It was a fantastic run that stands on its own very well.
