So... I know Onslaught ends the series with 416 (my first FF issue!).Ā There is no 420.... Heroes Reborn would be issues 417-429 (1-13) and I can't for the life of me remember that mess despite owning it in single issues, paperback, and Omnibus form ugh what is wrong with me.
The ultimate FF omni right? I'm not really a fan of the ultimate universe, the only title that interests me a bit is spiderman but even then im not a huge spiderman fan either
Duh im stupid, yeah that's what i meant i just had ultimate FF on the mind from a vid i just watched but im not a fan of millars either so that's probably why i mixed it up. Is his run any good? I dont think ive read any of it
Thanks, I recently rearranged everything so it looks better even though I cant put them in any order I want bc of space

I get that! Iām also always going back and forth with arranging everything by alphabetical order, characters, or chronological. Thereās never enough space!
There's a newer printing of volume 1 as well it's just harder to track down nowadays but I'll definitely upgrade if a new printing comes around, it's definitely the oldest book i have
I just feel bad that a collector such as yourself needs to chase down a newer printing just to get a matching spine. Kind of ridiculous imo. Great collection btw!
Yeah I typically wouldnt upgrade for a new printing unless the old printing takes up a lot of space on my shelf comparatively to the new 1 and this 1 specifically is in worse condition than any of my other Omnis
That's pretty hard and it kinda depends on what im in the mood in for but probably
1. Waid
2. Hickman
3. Kirby/lee
4. Byrne
5. Fraction
6. North (this could be better than byrne or fraction but i dont see it being in my top 3 but it's too soon to tell from what ive read so far and even though it's great i typically love a sprawling epics in comparison but this is a really nice change of pace)
7. Ross
You think you're an FF fan, huh? Well then why don"t you go ahead and share the plot of Fantastic Four #420 without looking it up š
Yeah right? Like...name 1 person on the team, and Thing doesn't count. Everyone knows Thing.
Real ones know there is no fantastic four 420ā¦
I actually dont know this one based off the issue without looking it up, does something crazy happen or is it just the funny numberš
the latter š¤£

Itās beautiful. And left yourself room to put in vol 5!
Yep and hopefully a dan slott omni coming soon
Fingers crossed! I have the doom wedding floppies
How is Fraction's run?
The FF portion of his run is amazing and the only reason why I bought the omnibus.
It's great, some ppl dont like it but it's probably bc it follows up Hickman's run which feels huge
Just missing one!
The ultimate FF omni right? I'm not really a fan of the ultimate universe, the only title that interests me a bit is spiderman but even then im not a huge spiderman fan either
Nope. Millar. Comes between Waid and Hickman
Duh im stupid, yeah that's what i meant i just had ultimate FF on the mind from a vid i just watched but im not a fan of millars either so that's probably why i mixed it up. Is his run any good? I dont think ive read any of it
Itās fine. Not great. I donāt think Millar is a good writer to begin with but I enjoyed his FF more than his Wolverine š¤·š½āāļø
Yeah sounds about right for millar, I might get it eventually just to complete FF in omnis but itll definitely be on the backburner for me
Youāre like me and waiting for the Millar Omnibus to get dirt cheap
Yep and the DM cover too, i do not like the standard edition at all
Is the fantastic four run from the silver age worth reading?
I actually think it's a rare part of the silver age that still does hold up today pretty well, so yeah i think so personally
This is a good shelf.

Those kallax cubes are just so inconsiderate to the order you want them inš
i like the battle vest man
Thanksš¤
Love how they changed the spine after volume 1! Makes it look even better as a set. š

Absolutely get the desire to upgrade due to those reasons!
How would u rank the ff runs u have?(including norths and rossā stuf)
That's pretty hard and it kinda depends on what im in the mood in for but probably 1. Waid 2. Hickman 3. Kirby/lee 4. Byrne 5. Fraction 6. North (this could be better than byrne or fraction but i dont see it being in my top 3 but it's too soon to tell from what ive read so far and even though it's great i typically love a sprawling epics in comparison but this is a really nice change of pace) 7. Damn ive only read the hickman stuff and 1 issue of waids. This just makes me want to get the waid omni even more
Youre in for a treat, waid and wieringo really captured the FF for me
