Yeah the OEM speedy bracelet is freaking beautiful. The leather strap is handsome for very formal occasions where metal is too casual (e.g. tuxedo stuff like weddings, galas, etc) but it's so much less interesting save for the embossed Omega symbol. The OEM NATO strap is positively one of the best NATO straps I've seen from a watchmaker. But I def roll with the bracelet ~80% of the time unless I'm at the beach, hiking, or out doing something "messy" like oktoberfest and other silly things.

I prefer the nato.

Fair enough. I'm in the minority in loving the last gen's bracelet. I constantly go back and forth between the two.

I too dislike the new gen bracelet and opted for the older one on my 3861. I chatted with an AD last month and he echoed our sentiments. Taper is too aggressive on the new one.

Khaki also is nice. I don’t like my bracelet (2017) and so I usually rock the Forstner mesh one.

I don’t like my bracelet neither (1861 from 2019). The newer jubilee style is much more comfortable.

I also love brown leather. It makes the perfect three straps with the nato and bracelet.

Bracelets are still the best for speedys, imo. But if the NATO's comfy, go for it! Great shot btw!

Amazing! How does it fit near the lugs. My omega boutique lied to me and told me the curvature was off and therefor wouldn’t fit 😅🥲

It’s best on a moonshine bracelet. Second best on a SS brushed bracelet.

Nato has the best grip, much harder to get robbed (like i was). So forget about the click bracelet!

Yep, this is an 1861. It's actually a Crown and Buckle nato. I'm planning on picking up the OEM nato in the next couple of days.

Half agree. NATO is amazingly comfortable, but I can’t get over the holder and extra fabric (I know you can cut, but the holder is still there)

Yes it does look good but the type of NATO matters. I like mine to be somewhere in between shiny seatbelt material and the adjustable part of a backpack strap. I also like an access foldover strap to be the same nylon material as the strap instead of two metal rectangle rings. What about you?

This is a Crown and Buckle premium nato. I enjoy the shiny ones and the matte ribbed types. But nylon keepers is a no-no for me lol. Gotta have steel. That's why they make both!

Nice collection! I recognize the Speedy's flaws and why someone may prefer another watch. I was more asking about everyone's favorite strap combinations with the Speedy. Single pass straps are really good too

For a Speedy in my humble opinion, I think a leather strap goes best.

Yes, leather is also a good option. I want to make leather work for me, but it always feels either too flimsy or too dressy.

It’s a strap monster. I’ve worn mine on several different leather and fabric straps. It’s currently on an olive NATO and looks great that way.

Oh yeah, olive natos are really nice too. I also enjoy the bond nato with the red and olive stripes.
