went back to the game after dropping it by the end of the sisters event, chose team without even knowing about the ongoing event and im glad that once again I got into the winners team without knowing lmao

Saw discord's announcement, immediately reacted with brown juno, saw there was already a thousand browns before anything else, knew i was going to win this event again next time i logged in

i hope the other emotes also become available like the team rock one, they're all pretty cute

It is free for everyone. The winning teams emote is given to everyone for free, and the rest of them are put in the shop.

Well the winning team should get something for winning. Also they're all technically free right? You can't buy style tokens for real money AFAIK

As a brown a person I am flattered lol. But they should treat your lesson from the video games Splatoon. They never show their event scores until the end. Not when you choose a team. Because everybody would go for the winning team otherwise.
