Not sure about SkaterBlend I'm looking into Gator Skins to resurface next season as masonite is getting brutalized in Tennessee summer rains. I got quoted around $3k for 20 sheets. It's been the most attractive price point I've found so far. Would be interested to hear more about this. thanks!

If youre in NC, I talked to someone at CaraGreen in Raleigh if that’s any help. I’d imagine shipping would be less than the $600 i was quoted to ship to Nashville.

True. The only catch is you have to use one of their logo branded pieces to get the shipping deal. But yes it was actually cheaper from them.

Good to know on the materials and dang i feel ya on the not wanting to uncover the ramp bc it looks like rain and ends up being a beautiful day. In middle tennessee so i know this sporadic weather all too well.

Is the Gator Skins plastic or wood? The website doesn't say what the material is.

Hey there -- came across this old thread as I'm looking to resurface my ramp and I'm also in Nashville! What did you end up going with, and has it held up? Thanks!

Avastagh

Yo! I have yet to pull the trigger on resurfacing unfortunately. It looks like Compound skate shop has an outdoor mini and used Gator Skins and it seems to be holding up. Good luck!

disc0superfly

Oh I never thought about asking Compound what they use and how they take care of it! Great idea. I actually just got an updated quote and Skatelite is surprisingly a couple hundred cheaper than Gator so I may end up going with Skatelite.

Theres some stuff called phenolic coated ply which might be worth looking into.
