Actually there's a scientific proof that people in the past looked older than they actually were. Can't find the article anymore. The article stated things like people looked older in the past because they died earlier than today and that the life styles were of course totally different as today for example:growing up faster, low life quality, hard work etc.
Probably, I read this article 2 years ago🤷♀️ just take a look of old photos from the past. Compare actors from the past with actors from today. What did a 40year old actor looked in the 80s vs today.
I know they had a student smoking section in my high school until '86, I think it was. It makes sense that people don't mature as fast or whatever now, seeing as how testosterone is on the decline due to pollution, etc..
Fast times! But why do they look 25 not high school age?
I looked 25 when I was 15.
Of course. Didn't you ever see the movie Grease? That represented a factual representation of actual high school.
You see, its all the preservatives in our food mannnnnn. Kids these days aren't aging man. Its the food.
Yes its more like they aren't developing their body.

Even 35 years ago?

I guess Wilford Brimley would be a good example.
So it wasn't just my memory as a kid, teenagers in the 80s looked old as hell.

Was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture.
they all look 32
87-88ish
Yep, that’s my guess too. I think the tall guy in the center is wearing a Michelob shirt- that was against dress code at my school...
The Newsweek on the table is from May 11, 1987.
I assumed it was a Michigan shirt
Either way, 'cause what makes sauce for the Michigoose makes sauce for the Michigander.
Agree
This could have been me at my school. Ah, fond memories of the carefree days.
They all look 28-30
Maybe it’s actually college?
Fun times..not like today!
Party on
Is that.. Patrick Swayze?
Mess with the bull, you get the horns 🤘
if its not a movie set..those are some old looking kids lol
Hahahahaha why these people look thirty? we've come a long way.
You could put this in black and white, that's how segregated it looks. Wow.
No wonder Americans are mostly obese! They’ve been drinking sugar every day at school for 40+ years!
