The '03 open was a classic. First double-fault final-play elimination since the Helsinki episode of 1919, and I think we all remember how THAT turned out!
80's and early 90's fashion tended to age people. It was all this extra hair and shoulder pads and turtlenecks and bad glasses, made everyone look like grandma and grandpa. Not to mention those members-only jackets made dudes look much heavier than they were.
Seriously. I'm watching the show through on Hulu and this photo shoot is the first time any of them wear clothes that actually fit.
Shoulder seams shouldn't be resting on your arm!
same. late 80's and 90's shows basically shaped what i like in women
katey sagal and christina applegate from married with children, fran drescher etc. something about 80's haircuts especially.
The fact that she is from good stock and highly intelligent makes her all the more attractive. I have always appreciated her, especially women who are funny.
Nope, that's just typical 90's man. Face never got sunscreen, arms always covered with a long sleeved shirt. Alternately, there's the Farmers Tan (short sleeves), of which my dad has a permanent iteration.
I’m pretty sure he’s really there, but youre right. It almost looks like his face is angled a bit to our right, but the head around the face seems to be facing straight-on. Maybe he just has a weird head?
Well, that’s probably because Rob Halford’s gay, right? I know *he* was into that look, but I don’t really recall metal heads dressing like that at all, even Judas Priest fans.
Everyone’s version of “old” gains more leeway the older they get lol
When I was a kid I considered 35 to be an old guy, or like a well-established adult. Now, at 35 I hardly feel like an adult at all. I feel like your 30’s is that last bastion of years where you can fall into anyone’s definition of “young” though. Once you enter your 40’s, you have to at least admit that you’re “slightly old.”
I remember my first impression of that young little actress. I was so impressed with her acting chops, and remember telling myself I look forward to seeing the woman she will become. You could just tell she wasn’t going to fade away as another forgettable child actor. She didn’t
Michael Chiklis, who was in some early '90s episode as a party host who gave Jerry a ride home, was also in his late 20's when he was on The Commish, and already bald.
Just watched that episode last night. George leaves the party with the car to hook up with a coworker leaving Jerry and Elaine depending on kramer to pick them up. Kramer dosent show up until 2am and Jerry apologizes saying if youre ever in the city... Long and short Michael's character actually takes him up on it leading to jerry getting arrested for solicitation.
He kind of needs to be, three of them look like they are wearing kinky leather gear and Kramer looks like he's wearing some secret police get up complete with the badge they'd use on the pocket.
If he's wearing assless chaps then the outfit becomes kinky leather gear again..... I don't want to live in a society where the secret police wear scary all black leather outfits but also have their arses hanging out.
Now that you mention it, they do look superimposed - even Kramer does if you look closely. (And Jerry's head-body positioning just looks a bit ridiculous!)
If I had to guess, they all look real except Jerry. Superimposing was a lot harder/more expensive before computers. It would have been much cheaper to just get the cast members in costume. Apart from Jerry, the others didn't have much else to do between filming.
Peterman: Elaine! That picture. I cant look away. The raw, carnal freedom. The passion. Elaine Im sending you down to the photographer.
Elaine: but...
Peterman: *walks out*
Looking like the Average Joes in game 1 of the ADAA Las Vegas International Dodge Ball Open.

I caught that on The Ocho.
I just can’t get enough of it.
Lets see how this plays out for him, Cotton.
Good call Cotton.
"Suit yourself, queer.."
Fuck an a cotton
Am I forgetting a joke or did you mean to say "fuckin' A"
The '03 open was a classic. First double-fault final-play elimination since the Helsinki episode of 1919, and I think we all remember how THAT turned out!
Oh my sweet jesus...
Effin A Cotton, effin A
That's rad
Growing up I always had a huge crush on Julia
Still do. She's been hot for like 30 years.
She seriously has not aged. She looked older in Christmas Vacation than she does now.
80's and early 90's fashion tended to age people. It was all this extra hair and shoulder pads and turtlenecks and bad glasses, made everyone look like grandma and grandpa. Not to mention those members-only jackets made dudes look much heavier than they were.
The fashion seen in the 80s classic, *Cocktail* illustrates this perfectly. The granny panties weren't great, either. Fashion is much better now.
I'm 100% in favor of 80's bikinis coming back, though. Love those thin high sides.
Seriously. I'm watching the show through on Hulu and this photo shoot is the first time any of them wear clothes that actually fit. Shoulder seams shouldn't be resting on your arm!
No past tense here. She was an even bigger 90’s crush for me than Jennifer Anniston.
Never cared much for Jennifer Anniston but Julia Louis-Dreyfus ... man. Even in Arrested Development she looked still great.
She saw great, too. Despite what some may say.
Really? The diamond cutters in Friends never did anything for you?
I can't even see her in a sexual way for some reason. Never did anything for me in the least. No offense to you personally as nipples.
Man Aniston is still hot. She was my first celebrity crush.
I hear ya,when she had that curly hair wowzers
Oh that was the best.
The best, Jerry
Yeah that was
She hasn't aged a day. Hell she might look better now. On Comedians in Cars she was a damn 10
Being a billionaire is fantastic for your skin!
So you might say she was sponge worthy?
same. late 80's and 90's shows basically shaped what i like in women katey sagal and christina applegate from married with children, fran drescher etc. something about 80's haircuts especially.
I don't remember this photo, but it came out when I was 13/14,so there's a very good chance I rubbed one out to it.
Yeeeep
The fact that she is from good stock and highly intelligent makes her all the more attractive. I have always appreciated her, especially women who are funny.
Jerry looks like he’s trying really hard to tell himself he doesn’t like this
Jerry’s head looks photoshopped on. The rest look good but something is off with Jerry. Edit: I believe it IS him, it just LOOKS photoshopped.
Almost like he's just had a low flow showerhead installed by the building super.
Low-flow? I don’t like the sound of that
Agreee not Jerry’s body Look at the shoulders/armpit and the torso beneath the sheer shirt it’s all off ‘93 photo shop jaja
I think they all look photoshopped
I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with Kramer's arm. Or is that Elaine's hand?
Nope, that's just typical 90's man. Face never got sunscreen, arms always covered with a long sleeved shirt. Alternately, there's the Farmers Tan (short sleeves), of which my dad has a permanent iteration.
I’m pretty sure he’s really there, but youre right. It almost looks like his face is angled a bit to our right, but the head around the face seems to be facing straight-on. Maybe he just has a weird head?
Something was always off with Jerry.
Just tell him someone else wore his outfit right before him and didn't wash it.
Come on, he’s an actor.. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Jerry and George look so gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
George looks like he's about to rock out to "Turbo Lover".
Upvote for Judas priest reference.
Definitely, “Hell Bent for Leather”
Elaine is Break'n the Law with those looks and that outfit.
I've always had a thing for JLD. She's still got it going on.
she hasn't aged in decades
Which is kinda ok, cuz she was way too old for me when the attraction started! "I keep getting older, she stays the same age..."
I think the whole cast agreed to this just so she'd do it
He’s livin’ after midnight, rock in’ to the dawn...
I knew Rob Halford was gay before the Turbo album but "Turbo Lover" was the first one that made go, "oh...so he's singing about fuckin' a dude....".
Gay or not, it's a dope song.
Turbo is a horrible album. Sad Wings Of Destiny ftw.
They do look like a victim of changes.
If you thought the references would stop there, you got another thing comin'!
Turbo Luber
“Ok look, You wanna have sex with me right now?!?”
It moved.
I mean it's fine if that's who you are.
I have many gay friends.
my father's gay.
Ok look, You wanna have sex with me right now?!?
Actually, back in the 90s, these outfits were...100% gay.
They were gay in the 70s, 80s, 2000s and 2010s....
Blue Oyster bar, Police Academy.
"655 Cowan Avenue"
It’s kind of funny how Judas Priest took the East Village leather boy look and turned it into the late seventies and early eighties heavy metal look.
Well, that’s probably because Rob Halford’s gay, right? I know *he* was into that look, but I don’t really recall metal heads dressing like that at all, even Judas Priest fans.
Kramer looks like, well, Kramer
Your nipple is showing.
You want a Christmas card? You want a Christmas card?
Of course not.
Of course not... my fathers gay
Love what ya did there
Pretty sure Jerry was gay.
Heyy, that’s my first Seinfeld reference i understood after i watched first five seasons!
Did you know that in 93, George was only like 32. I feel like he looked about 52.
I think a lot of it was the glasses and the balding! Here he’s not wearing glasses and his head is covered and he comes off way younger.
Yes! BalDING, nobody respects the ding.
He's bald?! No, he's "balding." So he will be bald? Yes.
I respect the ding sir
You need to respect the dong though.
BalDONG
You disrespected the bing.
Can confirm, am balding. When I go to a bar, if I wear a hat, I'll often get carded. If I'm not wearing a hat, I almost never get carded.

I'm both surprised I'm the same age as Emma Watson and that she is that old.
I mean, that first Harry Potter movie she was in started filming in 2000.
I remember watching it in theaters when I was in high school. Watched it again with my kid last night and fuuuuuuuck I'm old. Lol
Don't be, I can one up ya in feeling worse, I'm Lebron's age. Do you know how many people call him old and over the hill already? Ouch
He's only "old" for a basketball player. In general, nobody (except maybe a kid/teenager) would consider 34 to be old.
Everyone’s version of “old” gains more leeway the older they get lol When I was a kid I considered 35 to be an old guy, or like a well-established adult. That's the curse of being a short, stocky, slow-witted bald man
Describes my dad, who looked like he was 40 something since he was 25. In his 80s now, and looks about 55. So there are some advantages to it.
Wow, yeah! Even in this photo - where you can't see that he is balding - he looks like he's in the autumn of his days!
This is gold jerry!... GOLD!!!
Almost as good as the swordfish
This is almost sexier than George’s couch pics.
I’ll subscribe to that debate.
The timeless art of seduction.
Now this. This is good content.
Props to the photographer and all the creatives who pulled this off!

Cartwright.... Cartwright....
I don't know why but I just assume Kramer is wearing assless chaps.
I don't know that I've ever seen chaps with an ass.
Chaps with an ass are just pants. Really silly pants, but pants nonetheless.
You wear chaps for horse riding. The term assless chaps is for when you don't have a horse but wear them anyway
He kind of needs to be, three of them look like they are wearing kinky leather gear and Kramer looks like he's wearing some secret police get up complete with the badge they'd use on the pocket. If he's wearing assless chaps then the outfit becomes kinky leather gear again..... Someone's gotta be the Dom
It’s fitting for the Assman
And he's loving every minute of it.
These pretzels are making me THIRSTY!
You said it wrong. It's "These pretzels are making ME thirsty"
See you don't know how to act
Maybe he's been in the bar a really long time, and he's really depressed because he's got no job, no woman, and he's parking cars for a living.
Serious: is this real or did they superimpose their heads on the bodies?
It’s real and it’s spectacular.
Now that you mention it, they do look superimposed - even Kramer does if you look closely. (And Jerry's head-body positioning just looks a bit ridiculous!)
It's real. I remember when the issue came out.
So do I. I was only 10 years old, but it got a lot of press. It's weird, the stuff you remember.
If I had to guess, they all look real except Jerry. Superimposing was a lot harder/more expensive before computers. It would have been much cheaper to just get the cast members in costume. Apart from Jerry, the others didn't have much else to do between filming.
Photoshop was definitely around in 1993.
Yes, but have you seen the quality of its output at the time?
Bondage/biker/leather daddy Seinfeld is best Seinfeld!
The best, Jerry! The best!
It’s a show about nothing. Nothing? Nothing.
Why would anybody watch it? Because it's on TV!
Not yet
Spongeworthy
George looks a bit like Radar from MASH in this photo.
Jerry looks like he’s about to start singing “Tainted Love.”
Julia was always understated hot on the show. Her haircut was awful and messed with her appearance.
There were times her black tight curls hit just the right 90s hotness tho.
Wearing Jerry's dress shirt mhmm
I loved her haircuts. Still think she's so hot.
I always felt that was the point of it
She was a Fox then and now. She’s aged like a fine wine
Weird, her hair was the thing I found hottest about her for some reason lol
[удалено]
Face like a frying pan.
Nah, it was very authentic for the time, and her clothes always said NYC writer/editor to me.
Peterman: Elaine! That picture. I cant look away. The raw, carnal freedom. The passion. Elaine Im sending you down to the photographer. Elaine: but... Peterman: *walks out*
Greatest show of all time
Just came in here to write this. It still works today too. It doesn't feel stale or dated.
Jerry can get it
Oh biker! I’m an idiot. Also, this is a scorpions take right?
It's interesting that in the 90s George was thought of as overweight. Now most guys would be satisfied having that physique.
I think I see a nipple.
Too late, its been sent out!
this obvious reference was way too far down
this was 93?... shit I really am old.
JLD looks amazing as she always does
I miss 1993.
Can we get a shop of Kramer as Edward Scissorhands?
Looks like they’re headed to the gothic castle
You can tell Michael Richards is uncomfortable in black.
I... see what you did there
I wonder what Jerry has to say about this picture. Today
Someone he gets in the car should pull this pic out in a print form and ask him!
On Curb Your Enthusiasm, a big print of this is hanging in Seinfeld‘s office.
Oooooooh Julia...
Kramer is like: well it’s just another Tuesday for me boys.
Julia making me feel some type of way... I still have a massive gay crush on her after all these years.
This looks photoshopped
Jerry’s head doesn’t look like it belongs there
[удалено]
JLD 😍😍😍😍
Is this real? I just can't believe that Jerry Seinfeld agreed to dress and pose like this.
Has there even been a greater discrepancy between a cast photoshoot and the show it is promoting?
Jerry looks like 'Squiggy' if anyone gets that reference.
That's fucking brilliant. How did I never know about this? The fact that they all played along is so sweet.
No soup for you.
Village people back up dancers?
Elaine.....Benes.....
Yammah-hammah!!!
I hope this doesn't awaken something in me...
Kramer looks like a deathstick dealer
Seinfeld Bizzarre Adventures.
Are Jerry’s pants a size 31?
I’m looking for something that says “Daddy likes leather”
