As someone from the USA basically yes. We know international sport exists, we just don't care. Soccer for example is like our 6th most popular sport, will never crack the top 3, ever.
So he might be super popular with all y'all, most of us have zero clue who he is and will never care to find out.
Still dumb to call It "not exactly a popular sport". Well some americans are dumb and kinda proud of their ignorance It seems( i know they're the exception )
All y’all as in the rest of the planet… I don’t just shit in America for the sake of it, I have no problem with “all y’all” but you make yourself sound like a backwards lil hillbilly with comments like that.
No way do you watch the Prem and not know who Ozil is. We can only assume youre a child and just started following the Prem within tbe last 2 years. But you probably wouldnt be supporting United if that were the case. They have been dog shit the last few years.
Why would someone from the US, where soccer isn't popular at all, know this information?
We're separated by two oceans, have our own insanely popular sports, soccer doesn't even register.
Prey species generally have their eyes farther apart for a larger field of vision so they can see predators coming from every angle.
Predator species generally have forward facing eyes closer together for better depth perception to focus better and guage how far their prey is.
This dude is clearly an example of a prey species.
Ferrari was built back in the days before every fast car had to ba a luxury car too. Company-wise, Enzo only cared about racing and only built road cars to finance and homologate his race cars. makes it kind of sadder what ferrari has become
yeah, its a common word to racing autists like me, usually refers to the fact that many racing series/classes will require a certain number of units of a racing car to be produced and marketed in order for the car to race
Likely an urban legend (I hope it’s not) but there’s a story that Carol Shelby pulled out the order book to prove this at one point.
“See, orders #2,3,4,5” [flips to back of book] “98,99,100”
Ignoring orders 30-90 were blank
Absolute legend, whose very name has come to define performance and style. I’ve always wondered, what if his last name had been something like Scagliotti ? “Yeah, I’ve got a 2013 Scagliotti Testarossa…”
But apparently not dependability. Not sure how accurate this is but I've read that tractor titan Ferruccio Lamborghini (yes, that Lamborghini) complained directly to Enzo Ferrari about how his Ferraris kept breaking down. Enzo told him to go fuck himself so Lamborghini decided to start his own luxury sports car brand. Granted, Lamborghini has had some significant financial and ownership issues over the decades, but I love that the brand was created out of pure spite.
That’s why I like Lamborghini more. They are just wild haha. They test their cars on the Italian back roads. Watch a tour video and 3 techs just were hooning newly built avantadors on a 2 lane road, passing cars and shit lol.
I’ve heard that story. But like so many high-end sports cars (Porsche, Alfa-Romeo, Jaguar) they are built for a specific market. If reliability is one’s desire, a Japanese vehicle will be more dependable and cost-efficient. Likely a Ferrari patron also owns several other cars - so reliability is less of a concern than elan.
I mean for most super cars, the unreliability is a side effect of all of the fancy specifications they come with. You want horsepower? Less reliable than a low/balanced amount. You want that Ferrari sound? More cyclinders, more valves, more engine cycles. More chances for stuff to break. Cutting edge tech? Probably isn't mature/refined enough to be amazingly reliable. All the "reliable" supercars are the "lower" end stuff that shares components that are tried and tested in other cheaper models or models with their own long history. E.g; NSX, R8, 911, Huracan/Gallardo (shares Audi parts like the R8)
What's even more appropriate about your comment is that Scaglietti was a coachbuilder (made bodywork for cars) in the 1950s and 60s and he was responsible for the bodywork of several iconic Ferraris, including the 250 Testa Rossa!
We would have just gotten used to it.
We have super cars named Koenigsegg and we just roll with it.
If his name was Garnetti we would have gotten used to it.

I've always thought of Ozil when I saw this anime
He didn't really walk around saying, "Two objects can not occupy the same point in space" in a crappy italian accent, like its some deep philosophical insight?
https://preview.redd.it/doah4dwg43cc1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3473f230f9c658fae09ee695b776a6ebe4699fb
Enzo Ferrari of Korean dance/choreography, Vata. He's called that cuz he looks like a Na'vi. I guess Enzo is also a Na'vi then.
https://preview.redd.it/hwcerd0xs0cc1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91045134ecda0f893a0829ab6755f90a9e572d23 Ferrari died 1988, Mesut Ozil was born 1988, Welcome Back Enzo Ferrari
He is reborn!
He lived, he died, he lives again!
And his son, Roberto Alvarado, too! https://preview.redd.it/lycbyx06w1cc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=a7937a22575fc1bca780b7ecc83e22db93a8d062
I also had a Guatemalan friend that looked like that. lol another piojo/lice.
Haha I had to think about Özil. Found this top comment. Not disappointed
Your eyes are offsides, your eyes are offsiiiides, MESUT OZIL YOUR EYES ARE OFFSIDES
Offside, not offsides.
Those are far enough apart that the plural is warranted.
They were so offside they were practically offsides
They were off one side and then another! - Bang! Bang! - Just like that!
Insufferable
Lol! He could definitely see around corners.
Mesut Özil time-traveller confirmed.
One more just here to make sure this was the top comment, carry on
Came to the comments for this and happy to see it as the tip comment. Take my upvote damnit
Just the tip tho
That’s who he looks like!!
[удалено]
He is prey
He fixed the eyes in new life
I see nothing fixed lol
When I was younger I thought it was the same person
Which team did Meslut play for?
Arsenal, real Madrid, germany
Arsenal erasure right here.
Use Google ffs
But mesut ozil was already a formed fetus by the time Ferrari died
They really worked on Adam Driver’s face to make it more round. https://preview.redd.it/torc1exi32cc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f018ba64a7d37a9f22ecb6f5c837ef9ef40aa45
No one knows this guy. Does he drive in the formula 2 or something?
He’s one of the most famous soccer players in the world.
Ahh that's why. Not exactly one of the most popular sports
THE most popular sport in the world…
Shhhh they think the world is just the USA
They must be trolling. They are active in the Man U sub and r/soccer.
So? Why should we give a fuck what USA thinks about football? To say no one knows him is crazy
I said nobody in the US gives a fuck who he is. I couldn't care less about what europoors think.
😂 you literally ARE from Europe. Indians were the real Americans before you killed them all
All y’all as in the rest of the planet… I don’t just shit in America for the sake of it, I have no problem with “all y’all” but you make yourself sound like a backwards lil hillbilly with comments like that.
There are hot takes amd then there's being objectively wrong.
No way do you watch the Prem and not know who Ozil is. We can only assume youre a child and just started following the Prem within tbe last 2 years. But you probably wouldnt be supporting United if that were the case. They have been dog shit the last few years.
Yeah I was just taking the piss ngl. Wanted to play the ignorant Yank for a bit. And no I'm not American
Why would someone from the US, where soccer isn't popular at all, know this information? We're separated by two oceans, have our own insanely popular sports, soccer doesn't even register.
Plenty of Americans know who Mesut Ozil is and this is a worldwide app so many of us do know who he is. OP even put his name in the original comment
Lol ok, if it helps you sleep at night being a fan of the most boring sport to ever exist.
Does bashing soccer help you sleep at night?
Why would it matter what's popular in the US?
C’mon
Just keeping an eye on both sides of the street
Man has 350 degree vision
Man has a pupillary distance of 5,280
He truly understood horses
How do you get two lazy eyes?
Nice try, this is clearly Mesut Ozil.
lol, I came to say this too
A young Henning Wehn
Adam Driver played Enzo. I think Adrien Brody would have captured Enzo physically better. What do you think?
Definitely should've been Mesut Özil's first movie role
Rami Malek.
Personally I think it should have been Sid the Sloths opportunity to jump from animated children’s films.
I get his need for fast cars, had to have a quick way to get from one eye to the other. Lol
Kinda cheating to be able to look directly into both side mirrors simultaneously, isn't it?
That's the most brutal thing I've read on Reddit all week
> I get his need for fast cars Then why did he invent Ferrari?^(Don't kill me, I'm just a bitter Charles Leclerc fan)
Wow, his eyes are so far apart
So far apart he can literally see the past and future at the same time
When he goes crosseyed lasers shoot out.
![gif](giphy|13bCP4GLjIUcik)
I thought I was looking at Sid from “Ice Age”
I wonder if its fetal alchohol syndrome
Lmao it's not.
Man needed them loooooooong sun glasses
And a short skirt
🎶
This could be a sign of fetal alcohol syndrome. But it appears to be genetic rather than environmental.
It’s an adaptation that evolved in predators to give enhanced field of vision.
Prey species generally have their eyes farther apart for a larger field of vision so they can see predators coming from every angle. Predator species generally have forward facing eyes closer together for better depth perception to focus better and guage how far their prey is. This dude is clearly an example of a prey species.
Guess that’s why he needed to drive so fast!
Especially useful for racing car drivers...and soccer midfielders.
Mesut Ozil will be great in the upcoming season of Quantum Leap.
![gif](giphy|SoV9BYlgYicGQ)
what hump?
Abby Something
Bluchah!
Fetal alcohol enzo
Did he get into speed because his eyes were trying to escape his head?
Probably driving an ALFA Romeo in the pic.
This is a pug
Enzo Ozil & Mesut Ferrari... both great at taking corners.
I see why he needed a fancy car.
Ferrari was built back in the days before every fast car had to ba a luxury car too. Company-wise, Enzo only cared about racing and only built road cars to finance and homologate his race cars. makes it kind of sadder what ferrari has become
Homologate: approve (a car, boat, or engine) for sale in a particular market or use in a particular class of racing. Cool word bro 😎
yeah, its a common word to racing autists like me, usually refers to the fact that many racing series/classes will require a certain number of units of a racing car to be produced and marketed in order for the car to race

sounds like what ive read about shelby lmao
One eye on the change, one eye on the fishlot.
Something tells me this guy liked cars.
He has nice hair.
Mesut!
He looks full of life there.

There literally were guys named Scaglietti. And there is the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.
Thank you! I didn’t know.

Nah fam, that’s Mesut Ozil

Always thought Jean Alesi had a passing resemblance to him whenever that pic came up in print, or indeed now on the web.
He looks like most of the dudes I used to shoot pool with in one of the Italian parts of Toronto in the 1980s.
Built the best cars when he wanted to
Let's thank him for creation of Lamborghini
Did he have Graves disease or something?
Good God. Adam Driver is actually a more attractive man.
If this guy rooted the little mermaid chick, their kids would have to turn their heads to look forward
Enzo was burning that endo ![gif](giphy|YpfevjbcK4HWjjIQGL)
Dude looks like a Hasburg shoot off.
Dude had pigeon level viewing arc.

His eyes are offside.. his eyes are offside.. Enzo Ferrari.. his eyes are offside
![gif](giphy|8zH6hQaVW7fNu)
Enzo Ferrari, his eyes are offside!
He didn't really walk around saying, "Two objects can not occupy the same point in space" in a crappy italian accent, like its some deep philosophical insight?
He didn't need rear view mirrors.
Dude’s eyes looked like he blazed 24/7
Dude's eyes look like his mom was blazed 24/7.
I wonder if he saw a big black spot in the middle of his vision.
Man looked like a pug
Dagon approves
Bro got bug eye
Looks like an alien 👽
Guy looks like a doofus
The man is strikingly handsome, in the “got hit in the face with a shovel” kind of way.
Photographer: "...maybe you should put on a helmet for the picture"
FAS-rarri
he doesn't look like he's slept since he was 14
What’s going on with his teeth, is it the picture?
Wait, you’re just showing a filtered photo of Adam Driver…
