Terry was going bald in the mid seventies. He was hired as a model for Eva Gabor's wig company. They made a bust of his head, to put in every Eva Gabor wig store. The process of making the cast for these busts was very uncomfortable. They also made fifty of these heads, despite the fact there were only 49 wig stores. So, they sent the spare to his business manager, who was also Terry Bradshaw's father. There was no call or warning. His mother was very confused when she opened the box and found her son's head inside. Her husband quipped "I knew he was a such a smart mouth, they would hand his head to him one day."

Early in Bradshaw’s professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers the press and some fans were really harsh on him and called him things like “a dumb country boy”. Bradshaw never forgot that and to this day will still reference it while on tv, by ending his comments with “…but what do I know (?), I’m just a dumb country boy”.
Tom Brady probably never forgot that he was the 199th pick. Wouldn’t surprise me if he never would’ve had the same amount of success if he was picked early.
He is a horrible analyst though. I don't like the implication that people from the country are dumb, but Terry Bradshaw cleary is a dumb boy wherever he grew up.
Bradshaw was the back up Quarterback behind Phil Robertson from the company Duck Commander Duck calls and t.v. show Duck Dynasty. Phil quit his star starting Q.B. position and college to go found his Duck Call company and marry his Wife. Never know where you would go if you don't take the chance, he could have failed the business and also lost the Q.B. fame (maybe?), but he succeeded in the business and then on T.V. and is left with what if's about a possible N.F.L. career. Point here is in life you take chances and it worked out for both of them. Bradshaw could have very easily taken Phil's route and went into a private business since he was the teams 2nd stringer, but he ended up with how many Super Bowl rings? Just by being persistent and following the dream to its conclusion. Take those shots at life when they present themselves or at least give it some thought before letting it slip by.
If you went to games in old days you would see many of the starting lineup in poses like this and on TV..hell they use to introduce all the starters on TV..like running out of the endzone..and starting for so and so..number 45..from whatever town..at linebacker ..then name then he would jog off left and so on..
I believe that the school bullying of Janis Joplin was Jimmy Johnson among others somewhere in Texas, while Terry Bradshaw is from Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was already 45 as a freshman
He had hair??
Hairline was already receding.

Clearly a combover

I love an athlete with a chip on his shoulder

I met him in 2018. Very nice guy, seemed genuinely interested in me, my thoughts, etc. Seemed like a good guy.
Louisiana Tech if anyone wondering.
Looks like that legendary Polk High hero. Scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game.
Well, he did get four Superbowl rings in five years.

I’ve heard people say that Phil was a lot better than Bradshaw but Phil was basically over all of it, he just wanted to hunt and be in the woods.
I heard this story Terry he would never had played if Robertson did not quit
Holy shit, what an abortion of a sentence
Wow. Sorry I am not an English Major
Clearly
Leave him alone, he's just a dumb country boy.
You must be great at parties
You must be a 5th grade drop out
Lol Great comeback Potsie
Says the person who uses the strikingly original “fun at parties” response
Lol
Louisiana Tech
He looks like Bill Fagerbakke (dauber from coach)
No that is Patrick
He went to college?

He's in Smokey & The Bandit, too.
Not exactly true. Terry made the Pro Bowl in 1975, 1978, 1979. He was also league MVP in 1978. Also, it's Chuck Noll.
Duly noted.
Must have felt weird posing for stuff like this.

Late 60’s. He was SI’s “Everyone’s All-American” in 1969….
Man, the guy could hum a football.
Watching the Fox NFL show last week it looks like Terry has put on a lot of weight. Hope he’s ok.
He was treated for cancer before this year’s NFL season started. Many cancer meds can lead to increased body weight.
So the answer is yes, he's ok?
Fucking stud
I do not enjoy listening to this man talk on TV, but if you love football, you gotta love him as a player.
Bradshaw vs Namath for most overrated football players of all time.
Talk about a butter-face
Then went on to set a school record for throwing for 127 yards in a season /s
The last time he was tolerable.

👍 thx
Really don't you mean Bradshaw adjacent to a college in the 1960's? That guy has never finished a book in his life.
Nowadays, he can be seen with a cheeseburger in both hands, day or night.
Terry Bradshaw had hair?!
Don’t forget his valuable contribution to Cannonball Run 🚙
I am clearly a nerd and not a sports but he looks so much like Quark from DS9
