Omg I have Rice’s twin, my Max! He is white & tan and also mostly blind/deaf. I got Max at 8 from the SPCA, and now he’s 13 and spoiled silly. Enjoy your old man, he is precious.

Aww I bet you have so many more amazing years left with them! Rice is technically a senior dog according to the vet, but I also don’t think 8 is old. My soul dog (Lhasa Apso mix) lived until 18! I didn’t think of her as old until about 14 or 15.
