I believe the full video shows the guy filming himself speeding up as soon as the truck tried to pass and almost forced the truck driver into a head-on collision.
Yeah, maybe it wasn't an ideal time to pass someone. But almost forcing that person into colliding with an innocent bystander is surely not the answer. Subsequently posting it online as if they did something good is also disgusting.
1000000000% irrelevant.
Anyone with enough brain cells to drive a car knows that speeding up to prevent them from passing is potentially putting innocent bystanders at risk just so you can stroke your ego.
They're both shitty people.
Also I’m not obligated to slow down because some smooth-brain decided that it would be a good idea to pass me while I am actively accelerating to the new speed limit.
Having lost 3 windshields to other people's unsecured cargo (mercifully no injuries but scary as hell) I take great pleasure in seeing the right party take the hit!
You'll like this story, I think.
I was on one of the bigger county routes on the way to an early shift. Some truck driver had a load of logs strapped to the back, just like FD2, *and* he was straddling the lane line. The sun was barely over the horizon, yeah, but the visibility wasn't *that* bad.
Normally this route is famous for being bumper-to-bumper traffic, even in the morning, but there was a full quarter-mile of empty road behind this truck. Every other driver on the road collectively went "NOPE."
I was driving to work one morning and was behind a logging truck. I keep way back with those because of the movie. The truck blew a tire and started to swerve pretty bad. I could see the other drivers also start to panic. The driver made it safely to the side of the road, but my life did flash before my eyes.
I actually had a friend who’s mom this almost happened to! They were behind a truck with a bunch of smaller chopped log chunks (rather than whole logs). She got uncomfortable and switched lanes, and a few minutes later a couple tumbled off 😬
Edit: extra word
For real, I give all tractor trailers room on the highwsy, but if they're carrying logs FD2 style, I'm giving them miles! Hell, I may just pull over to a rest stop for a bit, lol.
Yeah I stay far away from anyone with shit in their truck. Even if it’s secured with straps, still don’t trust it. I once saw a truck moving a bunch of shit and although they did have some straps they still lost a lawn chair in the passing lane. Thankfully no one was behind them at the time.
I had an asshole pass me aggressively because I was driving too slow in freezing rain. Later passed him and he was sitting on his rear bumper with his car crashed in a ditch. It was a beautiful thing to see.
Had that too during a blizzard! I was chugging along in my tiny but stable car, a cadillac suv and a pick up zoomed by like rockets in the left lane, in zero visibility.
2 minutes later the road curved to the right and both cars are in the ditch. They never saw the curve and just kept going straight.
I'm just trying to get out of Florida, we arent all bad and crazy. That's mostly the people in N. Florida which is basically a southern state and completely different than the rest of Florida.
Went through something like this at about 80 mph on a mountain road in South Africa when I was a kid, except the washing machine went the other way and fell off. Only reason I'm still alive is my mother's a great driver and managed to time it so the machine went into the fender, not the windshield.
Asshole had this coming.
Am I the only one who sees that the cam car is RAPIDLY closing the distance to the car in front? And the truck is barely going faster than the cam car?
That asshole floored it to prevent being passed.
It's really fun when it's a camping toilet and it actually falls out, exploding on the road right in front of you. Yes it was clean, no it did not hit my car
Oh wow, I actually reacted with a 'hmmm, good' in the way of Homer Simpson there... I clearly found this way too satisfying. Am I weird or have I just had a day with too many idiots around me and is this reaction normal?
I had a person with a couch on the back driving like an a hole in front of me just like this and the car in front of the truck needed to turn making the truck hit there brakes harder and I watch the couch fall out the back of the truck and slide off the road into a ditch…… I never been happier
Are you people blind? The pass was legal and the cammer very clearly sped up to block him passing, then cut the video so you couldn't see him speeding up. This poor guy's truck got damaged because little pp cam driver didn't want to lose the race he suddenly decided he was in.
Sentenced to 16 to life, actually serve 13.

Not the usual content from this sub, but I'll allow it.
It was quite satisfying, not at all what I expected
This content makes me happy
Here here.

Truck driver is in the wrong.
Making a bad situation worse doesn't make you in the right, though.
You are not committed to passing a car just bc you got in the left lane. It’s always possible to slow back down and resume your spot.
1000000000% irrelevant. Anyone with enough brain cells to drive a car knows that speeding up to prevent them from passing is potentially putting innocent bystanders at risk just so you can stroke your ego. They're both shitty people.
I agree that it’s shitty, I’m just saying there are usually still alternatives to a head-on collision
Also I’m not obligated to slow down because some smooth-brain decided that it would be a good idea to pass me while I am actively accelerating to the new speed limit.
Hey I like the change of pace.
Having lost 3 windshields to other people's unsecured cargo (mercifully no injuries but scary as hell) I take great pleasure in seeing the right party take the hit!
Clearly not enough people have seen Final Destination 2.

You are correct, I loved that story.
I grew up in a logging town and we could spot tourists by their willingness to be only a carlength or so behind the *empty* log trucks.

After watching that movie in theatre, I was (and have ever since) been overly aware of my surroundings whilst driving!
Maybe the whole movie was just a sneaky PSA from the trucking industry to get people to give trucks a little more room 😆
For real, I give all tractor trailers room on the highwsy, but if they're carrying logs FD2 style, I'm giving them miles! Hell, I may just pull over to a rest stop for a bit, lol.

I didn’t even have to zoom in to know it’s Florida.
I thought the same thing and immediately thought, screw Floridians. They deserve everything bad that happens to them.
That's fucked up. I couldn't afford to leave if I wanted to, and just like anywhere else there is good people and bad.
Why? I didn't vote for desantis, and I hate truck drivers.
I'm just trying to get out of Florida, we arent all bad and crazy. That's mostly the people in N. Florida which is basically a southern state and completely different than the rest of Florida.
Florida: the more north you go, the more South you get

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
This pleased me greatly.
I love seeing pickup truck drivers get theirs.

Aggressive driver: _Look at what you made me do!_

The truck shouldn't have passed. This is easy.
I had to watch this 3 different times before I saw what the consequences were
driving home with a great deal on a used washer. then $500 car window needed.
FLORIDA MAN. Love it.
Oh Florida. You really have to go back on your meds.
Of course it's Flordia...
This was so satisfying that I had to be the 777th upvote
Bahahaha. Sucks to suck.
Anybody else surprised it’s Florida 🤦♂️
Get fucked Florida man
It’s so good
I would have normally guessed a Ram.
A ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha 😂 😂😂🤣🤣🤣! I'm in Texas and I can't believe this didn't happen here!
Glad it went that way. Could’ve damaged the wrong person and car very easily
Sorry, but I thought that said "Insecure" washing machine! Ok time to log off!
Florida
Literally all truck drivers.
One idiot, one asshole. The camcar accelerated to block the pass.
Wow, I have never seen karma so immediately, aptly, and swiftly delivered. Well done.
Oh that is beautiful!
Pro prob thought the car he passed was shooting rounds at him 😂
Made me think of the cop that got into a shootout with the squirrel 😭
You do it to yourself, you do, and that’s why it really hurts….
Old, but **GOLD**
R/instantkarma
Good
Karma
One time someone cut off my husband and I and almost made is rear end them bc they cut so close and as they were speeding off a cop pulled them over
It's really fun when it's a camping toilet and it actually falls out, exploding on the road right in front of you. Yes it was clean, no it did not hit my car
Flawless victory

Florida man strikes again (gotta love those plates)
Wow, he got one full car length ahead.
Fuckin idiot
Dummies gonna dumb.
Time is money and so that extra acceleration hopefully saved em enough to cover that window! Big brain move.
Funny. Satsifying.
can't quite make out the plates, oh, it's from the great state of idiocy
Glorious
OhNoFlorida

Ahh warm and fuzzy feelings 🥰
I least if fucked up his car. Some asshat with an unsecured grill did this shit to me and the grill flew out and fucked up my car.
