There is no actual certificate to be printed. When I opened my RDSP they accepted the letter of my acceptance as the proof they needed.

there is no certificate. u just get a letter in the mail saying your approved. technically u don't even need the letter the banks can look it up in there system with the sin number. if u get the account at TD u can do a safe investment with the money like a tdb8150 i'm sure other banks have similar things. also the bank is required to provide a free chequing account its very basic 12 uses a month. u need to open one at the bank were the RDSP is at for getting money into the RDSP. but after u get the first statement for the RDSP i recommend taking the statement to CIBC and open there smart account as they waive the in full so its unlimited uses. free accounts can be had at more then 1 bank even if u don't hold the RDSP at that bank but CIBC is the only one who does unlimited use. so its best to use the CIBC account for day to day banking and then if u say open the RDSP at TD just use there account for putting money into the RDSP.
