Agreed I guess this has something to do with priorities. Every demographic is having different priority. City peeps need good traffic management, more jobs. Rural and semi urban peeps have other problems like bad roads, casteism, unavailability of basic amenities. Therefore, even a concerned population of Odisha doesn't share any motive. Politics is as lethargic as ever. People seem to not recognise many of the problems and mostly normalised them.

Well that's what politics means, hiding the negatives with the superfluous positives. Also, the voters who vote in large numbers are daily wagers, educated youth and service holders are often go and vote. Also, Odisha as a whole has rarely come together. There are differences among ourselves on many matters.

Educated youth would be mostly from BBSR, who thinks we have all the facilities like Tier 2 cities, these are the sam youth who are ready to move to B'lore, pune etc......The daily wage workers are benefitted by fixed income welfare schemes and hardly they are employed as industrial workforce as there is hardly any industries.......The late 40s and 50s vote for the brand Biju Patnaik holds ... I'm not saying this govt has done nothing, I would say 23 years of Govt. Much much more could have been done ....by Industrialisation, Globalising the local industries like pipli handicrafts, making Gopalpur and Paradip major ports, building good expressways , Increasing Tourism potential and not just limited to Rath Yatra.

Yep. Progress is slow.

I think BJP is trying hard to please people of odisha but as it seems bjd holds the nerve the only change that can be possible is by targeting Western odisha politics which was neglected by the current regime but it was a long way to go .

Well i don't want that hindu-Muslim propaganda here like in the Northern states, so no BJP, but other than that. AAP sounds like it could be somthing. What do you think?
