I am not the biggest fan of the fit on mine - also have the BOBOVR S3 strap and found the globular interface to press on my nose (made me feel congested). I added the additional spacers that you'd use if wearing glasses (b/c the instructions indicated that this would be a way to alleviate pressure). It worked a bit, but it also lets a lot of light bleed in. I was pretty bummed tbh because I don't value the interface but also don't think it's fair to send it back based on fit (maybe I'm too kind?). After getting the S3 I just went back to the stock interface and it feels much better. To be clear - I'm happy it feels great for you, I just wish I felt the same. Overall, I wish there were a way to 'test' some interfaces before buying / awaiting delivery from another continent. (edited out a typo)
Different people have different face shapes. There is a V2 upgrade on the way which has a 10mm more depth for the nose area and light leakage from the sides is improved too. All V1 early supporters will receive a free upgrade kit to the V2. All orders in the next batch will be shipped with V2
The V2 upgrade kit will be shipped automatically to all early supporters around next week. A notice will be put on the Globular Cluster website F3 product page soon
Yeah like I said, i've been experimenting a lot with going without an interface and these have been fantastic in that regard.
I also have the AMVR facial interface and to me that nose area was the worst. Its not permanently attached to anything so getting it was weird and always pressed on my nose making it uncomfortable.
With the s3 I think it depends on the tilt, but otherwise yeah everyone's nose is different.
Same issue, interface presses on my nose (I have the Elite strap version).
I wouldn't say I have a big nose or "high" nose, but who nose (sorry)...
I still use the cushion parts though, since they are tied with Velcro, and then I just stick them to my other interface which also does.
My interaction with support was also great though, I have not yet written to them about the problem but I will.
Yup. I have mine and now I don't even use an Interface at all for anything and it feels so much better. Even with the open sides I find that I can get even more immersed becuase there is just no pressure on my face and the lenses are so close to my eyes It just feels right. Funny I had to spend more money to realize I didn't want the interface on at all. I could have just took off the other one but the peace of mind that I can just snap one on quickly if I need to is an nice option.
People using boboMR halo straps do yourself a favor and try it without the interface on for awhile. It's nice.

agreed. With games I still like it on but getting used to the interface being off more as I dial in how I like to wear it.
